Factors influencing NEET Cut off

There are 3 factors which will determine the NEET cutoff. These are-

  • Number of candidates appearing for the NEET.
  • Number of seats available in various institutes.
  • Difficulty level of the exam. (If the exam is tough, then the cutoff will be proportionally lower)

NEET Expected Cutoff –  How Percentile is Calculated?

NEET Cutoff 2021 percentile is calculated by following the below given method –

NEET Percentile Rank = Total Candidates (appeared) Your NEET Rank

÷  Total Candidates (appeared) × 100

For instance, if you have secured rank ‘100’ in NEET 2021 and the total number of candidates who have appeared for the exam are 5,00,000, then the final percentile would be:

[500000 – 100]/500000] X 100 =  99.98.

Your percentile would be 99.98, which means that you have scored more than 99.98% candidates who have appeared for the exam.
