NEET Cutoff for AFMC – Selection Procedure, Previous Years’ Cutoffs

NEET Cutoff for AFMC MBBS 2021 is expected to be released in the later half of October 2021. Since the NEET 2021 is rescheduled to be held on 13th September 2021, the counselling and cutoff dates have also been postponed and will soon be officially announced by the governing authority. Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune is the competent authority which will be responsible for the release of NEET Cutoff for AFMC MBBS.

Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) is the designated authority which will be releasing the merit list and conducting the NEET counselling process for the esteemed medical college – AFMC,Pune. It is crucial to know that along with securing an qualifying score in NEET 2021, aspiring candidates must also successfully complete various qualification rounds to be considered eligible for admission in the AFMC, Pune. There are a total 150 MBBS UG seats available in AFMC, Pune for the year 2021.

Important Update- National Testing Agency conducted the NEET UG 2020 on 13th September 2020. More than 15.97 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. Exam Analysts have rated the exam comparatively “easier” than the previous year. Surprisingly, Physics section proved to be comparatively easier than Chemistry and Biology. Candidates have also praised the exam conducting body for utmost safety measures taken throughout the day of the exam.

  1. Securing eligible score in NEET (as per category).
  2. Passing the AFMC ToELR (Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic and Reasoning.
  3. Psychological assessment test (Medical Test)
  4. Interview round by the Board of Officers.

NEET Admission for AFMC – Documents Required for Screening Test

Candidates must carry the below-mentioned documents at the time of appearing for the screening test of AFMC, Pune. Inability to do so may lead to the rejection of the candidature of the concerned student.

  • Printout of registration slip/page (authenticated by Medical Counselling Committee)
  • NEET UG 2020 admit card

AFMC ToELR 2020 – Pattern and Marking Scheme

ToELR is a CBT (Computer Based Test) which is conducted by the AFMC authorities as a part of Post-NEET selection procedure for the allotment of UG seats in the coveted AFMC, Pune. The 30-minute MCQ-based test consists of 40 questions. 2 marks will be awarded for every correct answer whereas 0.5 marks will be deducted for every wrong attempt made by the candidates. Aspiring candidates must secure minimum eligible marks to be considered for selection.

NEET Cutofffor AFMC – Seat Matrix 2020

There are a total of 150 MBBS UG seats available through NEET cutoff for AFMC. 115 seats out of the 150 are reserved for boys and the remaining 30 seats will be reserved for the girls from all over the country. 10 seats out of the total 150 will be reserved for the SC/ST candidates. The remaining 5 seats are reserved for the candidates belonging to the ‘International students’ category.
