Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Lucknow will release the NEET 2021 cutoff UP after the completion of the admission process. The release of NEET Cutoff for UP 2020 is expected in the later half of October 2021 for both State Quota and All India Quota.

Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Lucknow will be responsible for the release of NEET UP cutoffs for the state quota seats. 85% of the seats in all the medical and dental colleges of Uttar Pradesh will be granted through the State Quota. For the remaining 15% seats, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will release the cutoffs under the All Indian Quota (AIQ). There are as many as 6378 MBBS and 2251 BDS seats available in the medical and dental colleges of Uttar Pradesh through NEET 2020.
NEET Cutoff for UP MBBS 2021 – State Quota
DMET, Lucknow will release the NEET 2021 cutoff for the State Quota seats in UP in the online mode. A few important points on the NEET UP cut off 2021 for State Quota are:
- Eligible candidates must be domiciles of Uttar Pradesh to get admission through the State Quota.
- Candidates must secure a qualifying NEET state rank, NEET AIR(All India Rank) and NEET score to get admission under the state quota.
- The 85% seats under State Quota will be allotted to the qualifying candidates from various categories like Unreserved, SC, ST, OBC and EWS (as per the reservations).
- The cutoffs for various categories of candidates will be released separately by the government and private colleges in the state.
- Aspiring candidates seeking admission through the State Quota must choose and lock their preferred choices of colleges in the registration form of the NEET counselling. Candidates cannot apply directly for admissions in any random college.
NEET Cutoff for UP MBBS – All Indian Quota
MCC will release the cutoffs for both medical and dental seats available in Uttar Pradesh under the All Indian Quota. A few important points on the NEET UP cut off 2021 for AIQ are:
- Candidates from all over the country qualifying the NEET 2021 will be eligible to apply for UP’s medical and dental colleges.
- The admissions under AIQ will be granted on the basis of the candidate’s NEET AIR and corresponding NEET score.
- The 15% seats under All India Quota will be allotted to the candidates from various categories such as Unreserved, SC, ST, OBC and EWS.
- Candidates will be granted admission for only the number of seats reserved/available for the concerned category.
