NEET Cutoff for AMU – Seat Reservation, Quotas, Previous Year Cutoffs

NEET Cutoff for AMU 2021 is the minimum rank and marks which candidates must secure in NEET 2021 to get admission in the medical or dental colleges affiliated to the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is the designated authority which is responsible for the release of NEET Cutoff for AMU 2020. Aspiring candidates will be granted admission through two types of Quotas – Institutional Quota (50% seats) and Open Quota (50% seats).

Important Update- National Testing Agency conducted the NEET UG 2020 on 13th September 2020. More than 15.97 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. Exam Analysts have rated the exam comparatively “easier” than the previous year. Surprisingly, Physics section proved to be comparatively easier than Chemistry and Biology. Candidates have also praised the exam conducting body for utmost safety measures taken throughout the day of the exam.

  1. NEET Cutoff for AMU 2020 is expected to be released in the 3rd week of October. The schedule has been revised due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
  2. NEET 2020 is scheduled to be conducted on the 13th September 2020.
  3. Only those candidates who have completed their 10 + 2 from a school affiliated to the AMU university will be granted admission through the ‘Institutional Quota’.
  4. Eligible candidates from all over the country will be granted admission through the Open Quota seats provided they secure an eligible All India Rank (AIR) in NEET 2020.
  5. NEET Cutoffs for AMU 2020 will be released separately for various categories such as General, OBC, SC, ST and PwD.
  6. There are as many as 150 MBBS seats available in the Aligarh Muslim University through NEET 2020.
  7. 40 BDS seats are available in Dr. Ziauddin Ahmed Dental College (affiliated to AMU) through NEET 2020.
  8. Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will be responsible for carrying out the process of Counselling for the MBBS and BDS admissions in AMU.
