NEET Cutoff for Goa MBBS will be released by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Bardez. The governing body will release the cutoffs for the 85% state quota seats available in Goa. As the NEET 2020 is revised to be scheduled on 26th July 2020, the NEET Cutoff for Goa MBBS is expected to be released in the later half of October 2020.
It is crucial for the aspiring candidates to keep a regular check on the official website of ‘NTA-NEET’. Though, the state quota seat cutoff in Goa will be released by the designated state authority, the 15% AIQ (All India Quota) cutoff in Goa will be issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (on behalf of MCC, Medical Counselling Committee).
After the declaration of the NEET result, candidates will be able to fill the counselling form online and mark the preferred choices of colleges, and according to their respective All India Rank, State Rank and NEET score, they will be admitted to the respective colleges.
Important Update– On 3rd July 2020, MHRD Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal announced that the NEET 2020 will be conducted on 13th September 2020, the exam was previously scheduled to be held on 26th July 2020.

NEET Cutoff for Goa MBBS – Factors which determine the cutoff?
There are 4 factors which will determine the NEET cutoff for Goa 2020. These are-
- Number of candidates appearing for the NEET 2020.
- Number of seats available in various medical and dental colleges in Goa.
- Difficulty level of the exam. (If the exam is tough, then the cutoff will be proportionally lowered down).
- Marks obtained in NEET 2020.
Types of NEET Goa Cutoff MBBS
Eligible candidates will be admitted in the medical and dental colleges of Goa through two types of quota’s.
- All India Quota Seats (AIQ) 15%
- State Quota (85%)
Admissions through All India Quota
- Directorate General of Health Services will be responsible for carrying out the NEET cutoff process for Goa for the All India Quota seats (15%).
- There are 25 seats for MBBS and 6 seats for BDS available in the top notch medical colleges of Goa under the All India Quota.
- The NEET Cutoff 2020 for Goa will be released for various categories such as General, OBC, SC, ST, PwD and Differently-abled candidates.
- The admissions will be awarded according to the All India Ranks (AIR) of the candidates in NEET 2020 and would solely depend on merit and number of seats available for specific categories of students.
Admissions through State Quota
- The Directorate of Technical institution, Bardez will be responsible for carrying out the process of NEET 2020 cutoff Goa under the state quota.
- The designated state authority will be responsible for admitting eligible medical aspirants into top medical and dental colleges.
- There are as many as 155 MBBS seats and 34 BDS seats available in Goa through NEET cutoff under the 85% state quota.
- It is mandatory for the candidates to be domicile of Goa to stay eligible under the state quota seats of NEET 2020.
- Candidates must apply for their preferred colleges through the NEET counselling process 2020.
