NEET Cutoff for Andhra Pradesh MBBS – Seat Matrix, Cutoff Analysis

NEET cutoff for Andhra Pradesh MBBS is the last rank or score which the candidates must secure in NEET to get admission in the medical colleges of Andhra Pradesh. NEET cutoff for Andhra Pradesh MBBS 2020 is expected to be released in the 3rd week of October 2020. The candidates will be granted admissions through 2 types of seat quotas –

  1. State Quota (85% of the seats in the medical/dental colleges of Andhra Pradesh)
  2. All India Quota (15% of the seats in the medical/dental colleges of Andhra Pradesh)

Important Update- National Testing Agency conducted the NEET UG 2020 on 13th September 2020. More than 15.97 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. Exam Analysts have rated the exam comparatively “easier” than the previous year. Surprisingly, Physics section proved to be comparatively easier than Chemistry and Biology. Candidates have also praised the exam conducting body for utmost safety measures taken throughout the day of the exam.

NEET Cutoff for Andhra Pradesh MBBS – State Quota

  1. 85% of the seats in the medical and dental colleges of Andhra Pradesh will be offered through NEET State Quota.
  2. Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada is the competent body which will be responsible for the release of NEET Cutoff for Andhra Pradesh MBBS for the State Quota seats. The 2 rounds of counselling process (for State Quota seats) will also be conducted by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada.
  3. For the year 2020, there are a total 1489 MBBS seats available in the government medical colleges of Andhra Pradesh through State Quota.
  4. It is crucial to know that a candidate must be a domicile of Andhra Pradesh to apply for admission under the State Quota.
  5. Candidates will be granted admission solely on the basis of merit obtained in NEET 2020. You must secure an eligible state rank and corresponding NEET score to get admission in a medical/dental college of Andhra Pradesh.
  6. The NEET cutoff for Andhra Pradesh MBBS for State Quota will be released separately for various categories such as General (Unreserved), SC, ST, PWD, OBC and EWS.
  7. It is also essential to know for the aspirants that they must choose and lock their preferred choices of colleges during the 1st or 2nd round of counselling process. You cannot randomly visit any medical/dental college for direct admission (even if you have obtained eligible marks).
  8. In the private medical and dental colleges of Andhra Pradesh, reservation will be granted to the candidates through the ‘Institutional Quota’ as well.

NEET Cutoff for Andhra Pradesh MBBS – All India Quota (AIQ)

  1. 15% of the seats in the medical and dental colleges of Andhra Pradesh will be offered through NEET All India Quota.
  2. DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services), on behalf of MCC (Medical Counselling Committee), will be responsible for the release of the NEET Cutoff for Andhra Pradesh MBBS 2020 for the All India Quota seats.
  3. There are a total 261 MBBS and 21 BDS seats available in government medical and dental colleges of Andhra Pradesh under AIQ for the year 2020.
  4. Eligible candidates from all over the country will be granted admission through this quota, provided they secure eligible All India Ranks (AIRs) in NEET 2020.
  5. Candidates must ensure that they complete the registration and participate in the counselling session, which will also be conducted by the DGHS.
  6. The NEET cutoff for Andhra Pradesh MBBS for AIQ seats will be released separately for various categories such as General (Unreserved), SC, ST, PWD, OBC and EWS.
  7. NEET cutoff for Andhra Pradesh MBBS for AIQ seats is expected to be released in the 3rd week of October 2020.
