  1. State Quota (85% of the seats in the medical/dental colleges of Andhra Pradesh)
  2. All India Quota (15% of the seats in the medical/dental colleges of Andhra Pradesh)

Important Update- National Testing Agency conducted the NEET UG 2020 on 13th September 2020. More than 15.97 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. Exam Analysts have rated the exam comparatively “easier” than the previous year. Surprisingly, Physics section proved to be comparatively easier than Chemistry and Biology. Candidates have also praised the exam conducting body for utmost safety measures taken throughout the day of the exam.

  2. Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada is the competent body which will be responsible for the release of NEET Cutoff for Andhra Pradesh MBBS for the State Quota seats. The 2 rounds of counselling process (for State Quota seats) will also be conducted by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada.
  3. For the year 2020, there are a total 1489 MBBS seats available in the government medical colleges of Andhra Pradesh through State Quota.
  4. It is crucial to know that a candidate must be a domicile of Andhra Pradesh to apply for admission under the State Quota.
  5. Candidates will be granted admission solely on the basis of merit obtained in NEET 2020. You must secure an eligible state rank and corresponding NEET score to get admission in a medical/dental college of Andhra Pradesh.
  6. The NEET cutoff for Andhra Pradesh MBBS for State Quota will be released separately for various categories such as General (Unreserved), SC, ST, PWD, OBC and EWS.

  2. DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services), on behalf of MCC (Medical Counselling Committee), will be responsible for the release of the NEET Cutoff for Andhra Pradesh MBBS 2020 for the All India Quota seats.Β 
  3. There are a total 261 MBBS and 21 BDS seats available in government medical and dental colleges of Andhra Pradesh under AIQ for the year 2020.
  4. Eligible candidates from all over the country will be granted admission through this quota, provided they secure eligible All India Ranks (AIRs) in NEET 2020.
  5. Candidates must ensure that they complete the registration and participate in the counselling session, which will also be conducted by the DGHS.
  6. The NEET cutoff for Andhra Pradesh MBBS for AIQ seats will be released separately for various categories such as General (Unreserved), SC, ST, PWD, OBC and EWS.
