GMCH, Chandigarh has officially announced that they will release the NEET cutoff for Chandigarh MBBS for the Union territory quota as well. The cutoff marks will be released for categories such as Unreserved and SC (Scheduled Caste). The cutoff will also mention the merit and ranks obtained by the candidates in NEET 2020.

NEET Cut Off for Chandigarh MBBS – AIQ and UT Quota

GMCH, Chandigarh will also release a combined cutoff for the ALL India Quota seats and Union Territory quota seats. The cutoffs will be released online and the candidates will be admitted according to their merit and NEET AIR (with respect to the allotted seats for specific category).

NEET Cut Off for Chandigarh MBBS – Counselling Process (UT Quota)

Candidates must go through the following process to complete the counselling for NEET Cut Off for Chandigarh MBBS under the UT quota. It is important to note, however, that the foremost eligibility for the candidates to apply under the ‘UT Quota’ is having a domicile of the Chandigarh UT.

1. Registration – You must visit the official website of GMCH, Chandigarh and click on the link mentioning “Counselling 2020”. Candidates will be required to fill the credentials like Login ID and Password. Fill in the accurate details in the registration form and proceed to the next step.

2. Choosing and Locking the Choices – You can fill your preferred choices of colleges in the  “preference form”. Don’t forget to lock the choices of your preferred course and college respectively. 

3. Seat Allotment – Seats will be alloted to the eligible candidate according to the NEET AIR, preferred choice of college, category and the availability of seats (under the UT quota). Candidates can also opt to reject the accepted seat and then attend the second round of counselling. However, these  candidates must register for counselling again and lock the preferred choices for the 2nd round.

4. Report at the Alloted College – Eligible candidates who are alloted a seat, must visit the reporting centre along with a demand draft of the specified fees and all the important academic and personal documents. It is also crucial for the candidates to carry two copies of the registration form of counselling.
