NEET Cutoff for Uttarakhand MBBS – Dates, Previous Years’ Cutoffs

Candidates have to secure a qualifying NEET rank and score as per the NEET Cutoff for Uttarakhand MBBS 2020 to get admission in the medical and dental colleges of Uttarakhand. Aspirants will be allotted admissions through NEET 2020 under two types of seat quotas – State Quota and All India Quota (AIQ). There will be 85% seats available in all the medical and dental colleges of Uttarakhand under the State Quota whereas the remaining 15% seats will be allotted through the AIQ. NEET Cutoff for Uttarakhand MBBS 2020 is expected to be released in the Second half of October 2020. 

Important UpdateOn 3rd July 2020, MHRD Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal announced that the NEET 2020 will be conducted on 13th September 2020, the exam was previously scheduled to be held on 26th July 2020.

NEET Cutoff for Uttarakhand MBBS – State Quota

NEET Cutoff for Uttarakhand MBBS/BDS for the State Quota seats will be released by the Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU). The competent authority will release the cutoffs for various categories like General, SC, ST, OBC and EWS. 

It is essential to know that only the eligible candidates who are domiciles of Uttarakhand will be granted admission under the State Quota. Candidates must secure eligible NEET State Ranks and corresponding scores (as per category) to be considered for admission. Aspirants must ensure that they fill their preferred choices of colleges in the 1st or 2nd round of counselling process. 

NEET Cutoff for Uttarakhand MBBS – All India Quota

Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will be responsible for the release of the NEET Cutoff for Uttarakhand MBBS 2020 for the All India Quota seats. Candidates from all over the country who qualify the NEET 2020 with eligible All India Ranks (AIR) and scores will be considered for admission under the AIQ. 

Cutoffs will be declared separately for various categories such as General, SC, ST, OBC and EWS. Admissions will be granted solely on the basis of merit, rank and scores specified for various categories.
