NEET Cutoff for Chhattisgarh MBBS – Cutoffs (2019), State Quota & AIQ

NEET Cutoff for Chhattisgarh 2020 will be managed by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Raipur. The designated state authority will take the responsibility of allotting the seats to the eligible medical aspirants under the state quota (85%). NEET cutoff for Chhattisgarh MBBS 2020 is expected to be released in the first half of October 2020. It is crucial to know that only those candidates will be eligible to appear for the admissions under the state quota seats who hold the domicile of the respective state (Chhattisgarh). 

Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) holds the responsibility for conducting the counselling and cutoff process for the All India Quota (AIQ) seats in Chhattisgarh. Candidates who will secure a qualifying All India Rank and merit score in the NEET 2020 will be considered eligible to get admission in the top medical and dental colleges of Chattisgarh. 

There are as many as 454 seats available under the NEET state quota list of Chhattisgarh and 96 seats available under the AIQ. Overall, a total of 550 seats are available in the medical colleges of Chhattisgarh and as many as 332 seats are available in the dental colleges.

Important Update – MHRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal recently announced that the NEET 2020 will be held on the 13th September 2020.

NEET Cutoff for Chhattisgarh MBBS – Factors which determine the cutoff?

There are 4 factors which will determine the NEET cutoff for Chhattisgarh 2020. These are –

  • Number of candidates appearing for the NEET 2020
  • Number of seats available in various medical and dental colleges in Chhattisgarh
  • Difficulty level of the exam (If the exam is tough, then the cutoff will be proportionally lower)
  • Marks obtained in NEET 2020
  • Category to which the candidate belongs

NEET Cutoff for Chhattisgarh MBBS – State Quota Seats

  • Directorate of Medical Education (DME) is the official governing body which will conduct the cutoff and counselling process for the seats offered under the state quota in Chhattisgarh.
  • There are as many as 454 medical seats available under the state quota in Chhattisgarh.
  • The cutoff will be released for various categories and medical colleges of Chhattisgarh.
  • The cutoff for the dental colleges will be released separately, for various categories.
  • The reserved categories will include SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and PwD.
  • NEET Cutoff for Chhattisgarh MBBS 2020 will include the details like NEET AIR, NEET Score, State-Rank and corresponding categories.
  • It is crucial to know for the eligible candidates that they have to fill their preferred choices of colleges in the counselling form, as they cannot go randomly to any college and get the admission on the basis of just their NEET scores.
  • Eligible candidates applying for admissions under the NEEt state quota for Chhattisgarh must fill the choices of the preferred colleges in the Counselling form. You cannot directly go to the preferred colleges for admissions.

NEET Cutoff for Chhattisgarh MBBS – All India Quota

  • On behalf of the MCC (Medical counselling Committee), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will conduct the counselling and cutoff process for the medical and dental colleges in Chhattisgarh under the AIQ (All India Quota) of NEET Cutoff 2020.
  • Candidates from all over the country may apply for admissions in Chhattisgarh medical colleges on the basis of their NEET AIR and cutoff.
  • There are as many as 96 seats available in the top medical colleges in Chhattisgarh under the AIQ.
  • The AIQ cutoffs will be released for various categories like OPEN, SC, ST, OBC and PwD.
