NEET Cutoff for Rajasthan – Quota, Seat Matrix, Previous Years’ Cutoffs

NEET Cutoff for Rajasthan 2020 is the last rank or score which must be obtained by the candidates in NEET 2020 to secure admission in the medical or dental colleges of Rajasthan. The candidates will be granted admission through 2 types of seat quotas – State Quota (85%) and All India Quota (15%).

NEET 2020 has now been rescheduled to  be held on 13th October 2020. Candidates can expect the NEET Cutoff for Rajasthan (for both State Quota seats and AIQ seats) to be released in the 4th week of October 2020. There are as many as 2075 MBBS and 1190 BDS seats available in medical and dental colleges of Rajasthan through NEET 2020.

NEET Cutoff for Rajasthan – Types of Quotas

Eligible candidates aspiring to get admissions in medical and dental colleges of Rajasthan will be granted admission through 2 types of quotas:

  • State Quota (85%)
  • All India Quota (15%)

  • 85% of the total seats in the medical and dental colleges of Rajasthan will be granted through NEET State Quota. 
  • ‘Office of the Chairman, NEET UG Medical and Dental Admission/Counselling board’ is the official governing body which will be responsible for the release of NEET Cutoff for Rajasthan 2020 for the State Quota seats.
  • It is crucial to know that only those candidates will be allotted admission under the State Quota, who possess a domicile certificate of Rajasthan.
  • Secondly, admissions in the State Quota seats will be granted solely on the basis of merit obtained in NEET 2020. Candidates will be considered eligible on the basis of their NEET state rank, NEET score and respective categories.
  • Cutoffs will be separately released for candidates belonging to various categories such as Unreserved or General, SC, ST, OBC and EWS.
  • Candidates aspiring to get admissions through State Quota must ensure that they lock their preferred choices of college during the counselling process. You cannot apply for admission in any medical or dental college without marking your choices during the 1st or 2nd round of counselling.

  • 15% of the total seats in the medical and dental colleges of Rajasthan will be granted through NEET All India Quota. 
  • MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) is the official governing body which will be responsible for the release of NEET Cutoff for Rajasthan 2020 for the All India Quota seats.
  • Eligible candidates from all over the country will be considered for admission under the All India Quota, provided they secure an eligible All India Rank in NEET 2020 along with a corresponding NEET score.
  • All India Quota cutoffs will also be separately released for candidates belonging to various categories such as Unreserved, SC, ST, OBC and EWS.
  • MCC will also be responsible for conducting the counselling process of the NEET Cutoff for Rajasthan for the AIQ seats.
