However, on October 4th 2019, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, the Minister of Health and Family Welfare, officially announced that from 2020 onwards, admissions to the undergraduate and postgraduate medical programmes at JIPMER will be granted through NEET. Important Update- National Testing Agency conducted the NEET UG 2020 on 13th September 2020. More than 15.97 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. Exam Analysts have rated the exam comparatively “easier” than the previous year. Surprisingly, Physics section proved to be comparatively easier than Chemistry and Biology. Candidates have also praised the exam conducting body for utmost safety measures taken throughout the day of the exam.
