New Delhi, 7 March 2023 – UPJEE 2023 – The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP), has announced the dates for the UPJEE (Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Exam) in 2023. The time and shift details will be announced based on the total number of applicants.
According to the official notification, the examination will be conducted from June 1 to June 5, 2023. It also notified that the exam will be held for students belonging to Groups A, E1, E2, B, C, D, F, G, H, I, K1, K8, and Group L.
The JEECUP has declared that the students of Group L (Post Diploma in Industrial Safety) will be exempt from the written examination, and their admission will solely depend on the interview round. The selection of these candidates will be based on merit, experience, and areas of interest.

UPJEE 2023 – Eligibility Criteria
The UPJEE eligibility criteria differ depending on the course, some of which are discussed below.
- Group: A
- Course: Diploma in Engineering and Technology
- Minimum eligibility: Candidates must have received at least 35% in their 10th board exam.
- Question Division in the entrance exam:
- Section A (Maths) – 50%
- Section B (Physics+Chemistry) – 50%
- Group: B
- Course: Agriculture Engineering
Minimum Eligibility:

- Candidates must have received at least 35% on their 10th board exam, which must have included Agriculture as a subject.

- Candidates must have pursued Agriculture in their intermediate course.

- Section A (English and Hindi Comprehension) – 20%
- Section B (Reasoning and Intelligence) – 50%
- Section C (General Awareness) – 30%
- Group: D
- Courses: Modern Office Management & Secretarial Practice, Library and Information Science
- Minimum Eligibility: Candidates must have passed 12th board exam with English and Hindi subjects.
- Question Division in the Entrance Exam:
- Section A (English and Hindi Comprehension) – 30%
- Section B (Reasoning and Intelligence) – 35%
- Section C (Numerical Ability) – 10%
- Section D (General Awareness) – 25%
