What is SATHEE? Learn all about the Free JEE, NEET Coaching Platform

New Delhi, 7 March 2023 – Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has launched the SATHEE (Self Assessment, Test, and Help for Entrance Exams) portal of the University Grants Commission (UGC). 

The minister unveiled the free portal on 6 March 2023. The event was also live streamed on the official YouTube channel of UGC.

SATHEE – All You Need to Know about Self Assessment Platform

  • SATHEE is a self-paced interactive learning and assessment platform developed by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with IIT Kanpur. It will aid students in their preparation for competitive and other exams.
  • Preparation materials will be available in English, Hindi, and other regional Indian languages to assist students in preparing for competitive exams such as Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
  • Students can take a JEE mock test, begin learning subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for Classes 11 and 12, and ask questions on the portal.

  • To help students prepare for competitive exams, the portal will have videos created by IIT and IISc faculty members, teachers, and professors.

  • The videos would also assist students in learning concepts and revising topics in which they are weak.
  • This platform would be especially beneficial to JEE and NEET aspirants around the world. The coaching experience would be made available to all through the platform.
  • Aspirants preparing for the UPSC recruitment exams, GATE exam, and CAT exam will also benefit from the portal.
  • Students can use the platform to solve problems, attend live sessions and JEE webinars, get mentorship, check JEE (Main) announcements and syllabus, and join forums for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. There are sections for schools and parents as well.
