UPSEE Exam Date Announced: UPSEE 2020 will be held on September 20, 2020. The last date for submission of UPSEE online admission forms is May 31 (11:59 pm) and the deadline to make corrections in the online forms is June 3,2020 (11:59 pm).Â
Every year, Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University conducts the UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam) exam to offer admissions to the aspiring candidates into various courses as offered by the participating institutes. This year, UPSEE exam will be on September 20, 2020. The exam was previously scheduled to be held on August 2, 2020, but has now been rescheduled regarding the safety of the students in awake of the Covid 19 Pandemic. UPSEE is a state level exam conducted to offer admissions to the aspiring candidates into 21 government and 735 private colleges affiliated with AKTU on the basis of UPSEE scores. Apart from the colleges affiliated with the conducting body, other institutes in the Uttar Pradesh state also consider the UPSEE scores as basis for admissions.

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, established by the government of Uttar Pradesh state, is a public collegiate university. Around 800 colleges are affiliated to the university. AKTU has its centre and regional offices in Noida as well, which is retained by the Mahamaya Technical University. Earlier, AKTU was situated in the IET campus, Lucknow, which has been recently moved into Jankipuram campus, Lucknow.Â
As discussed above, the UPSEE exam for the year 2020 will now be conducted on September 20, 2020. AKTU will soon be announcing the dates for the online release of the UPSEE admit cards. In the meanwhile, the candidates can go through the exam schedule of 2020 to check the confirmed and tentative dates. As soon as the official announcement regarding the updated dates is made, we will update this page.Â
AKTU has recently confirmed that the UPSEE 2020 exam will be held on September 20, 2020. The official announcement was made by the Pro Vice Chancellor of AKTU, Professor Vineet Kansal, on 3rd of July 2020 through his twitter handle. The authorities have also extended the last date for submission of UPSEE online admission forms to May 31. Besides, the candidates appearing in UPSEE 2020 can now make a correction in their online forms till June 3,2020.

Aspirants qualifying the UPSEE exam will be eligible for admissions into the following courses-
Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University will release the admit cards for the UPSEE 2020 on 10th September 2020. The admit cards were previously scheduled to be released in the 1st week of September 2020.
The aspirants will be able to access their hall ticket for UPSEE exam 2020 on the official website of the conducting body. It will be mandatory for all the candidates to carry their UPSEE admit cards along with them on the day of exam to the allotted exam centres. Admit card will contain exam date and timing, exam venue, candidates’ details, the roll number of the exam, the paper number along with the exam day guidelines. It is advisable to go through the details mentioned thoroughly, and must contact the concerned authorities immediately in case of any discrepancy or error.
While filling in the application forms, the candidates get the chance to fill in their preferred exam centres, and on the basis of the availability of the seats the exam centres are allotted to the candidates. Before proceeding with the preparations, the candidates must get familiar with the exam pattern and syllabus for the exam as defined by the conducting body. Now that the exam has been postponed, the aspirants have more time to prepare for the UPSEE 2020 exam. UPSEE 2020 will be conducted to shortlist the candidates for admission into various UG and PG level courses. The syllabus of UPSEE 2020 will vary for each course and the candidates are recommended to prepare as per the defined syllabus. Keeping abreast with the UPSEE syllabus 2020 will help the candidates prepare strategically in sync with the course they have applied for. With the help of official brochure, the candidates can directly access the information brochure and refer to the syllabus for top-level preparation of UPSEE 2020.

The result for the UPSEE exam 2020 will most likely be declared within three to four weeks of conduct of the exam. In online mode, on the official website of the Dr. A.P.J. Kalam Technical University, using a common user interface, the result for the UPSEE 2020 exam will be declared. Candidates will be required to log in the online result portal using their UPSEE exam roll number.
Aspirants satisfying the minimum qualifying criteria as defined by the university will be considered as UPSEE qualified. After the declaration of the result, AKTU will also release a merit list mentioning the names of the qualified candidates shortlisted. Along with the scores secured by the candidates, and the personal details of the candidates, the UPSEE result 2020 will also contain a digital photograph of the candidates.
In case, two or more candidates secure the same marks, the university will follow a tie breaking protocol to ensure higher rank to one of them. The university will follow the below mentioned tie breaking policy. Firstly, the university will take in consideration the percentage of incorrect answers; candidates having less wrong answers percentage will be given preference. If the tie still persists, the university will follow different protocols for different courses as mentioned below-

After considering the above mentioned protocol, if the tie still persists, the university will give preference to the candidate having lower number of application forms.
The minimum marks required by the candidates to be eligible for admissions are the cut off marks. Aspirants looking to get admissions on the basis of their UPSEE scores will be required to satisfy the cut off marks as defined by the conducting body. Below we have given the UPSEE cut off for the reference of the candidates.

Soon after the declaration of the UPSEE result, the qualifying candidates will be then called for counselling and seat allotment process. The university will notify the short listed candidates about the counselling and seat allotment schedule via mail. Schedule for counselling for UPSEE 2020 will also be updated on the official website of the university. As soon as the schedule is announced, we will update this page. On the basis of the availability of the seats, merit list, and cut off scores the counselling and seat allotment process will be concluded. Other than the factors mentioned, the university will also keep in consideration the reservation criteria during the seat allotment rounds. Before filling in the application forms the candidates must ensure that they satisfy the eligibility criteria defined by the conducting body. In case any candidate is found ineligible, the university holds all the rights to cancel the candidature of the candidates at any given point of time. The candidates will be required to satisfy the eligibility criteria for both entrance process and admission process. All the participating institutes will be having their certain eligibility guidelines, which are to be fulfilled during the time of admission. The body responsible for conducting the UPSEE exam every year is Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh. Around 800 colleges are affiliated with the university that take the UPSEE scores as the basis of the admissions.
The UPSEE 2020 exam was earlier scheduled to be conducted on August 2, 2020. But, due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, it has been postponed to September 20, 2020.
The application forms were available from January 27, 2020 to April 6, 2020 in online mode on the official website of the university. INR 1300 is the application fee for general category candidates and INR 650 for the reserved category candidates.
The candidates must have passed their qualifying exam with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Technical Vocational studies, and Engineering Drawing subjects (the subjects will vary as per their course preference) with minimum required aggregate.
On the basis of the scores secured by the candidates in the UPSEE, AKTU will determine the result for the year. Also, after the declaration of the result, the university will also release the merit list mentioning the names of the shortlisted candidates.
