UPSC Prelims Result 2023 – Name List Released, Check Details Here

New Delhi, 03 November, 2021: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the UPSC preliminary result 2021 name list in online mode on the official website. Candidates are required to check their name along with their roll number mentioned in the UPSC IAS result PDF. 

On October 10, the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination was held. On October 29, UPSC released the UPSC IAS prelims result online, which contained the roll numbers of all shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted students are now required to fill the UPSC IAS 2021 detailed application form (DAF) 2021 to appear in the UPSC IAS (Main) exam. The UPSC IAS (Main) exams will be held next year on January 7, 8, 9, 15, and 16, respectively.

UPSC Prelims Result 2021 – Important Points

Some of the important points that must be kept in mind regarding the result of the shortlisted candidates for the admission to the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2021 are as follows: 

1. The candidature for these candidates is purely provisional. 
2. In accordance with the rules of the examination, all of these candidates are required to apply again in the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2021. 
3. The dates and important instructions for filling up of the DAF-I and its submission will be announced in due course on the official website of the commission.
4. Candidates are also informed that scores, cut-off marks, and answer keys of Civil Services Preliminary {CS (P)} Examination, 2021 will be uploaded on the commission’s website only after the declaration of the final result of Civil Services Examination, 2021.

• Visit the official website of UPSC 
• On the homepage, go the the “What’s new section” and click on the link titled “Result – Civil Services Preliminary exam 2021”
• A new PDF will open.
• Use “CTRL+F” or “Command+F’ to search for your roll number and name.
• Download and save the UPSC IAS prelims result 2021 PDF for future purposes.
