As discussed above, the result for TN board 12th class 2020 is scheduled to be announced by April 24, 2020, tentatively. But, due to spread of the corona virus (COVID-19) across the globe, all the exams and other related activities have been postponed. TN Board 12th Class Result – Re-totalling of the marks

After the declaration of the result, if any student are not satisfied with the marks given to them and are unsure about the scores secured, they can apply for the re-totalling of the marks. 

Under this, the board will make sure that the marks given to the students are calculated properly. If any answer is left unchecked or if there is any mistake in the totalling of the marks, the respective marks will be awarded to the students.

The regular students can get the forms for re-totalling from their respective schools. For private students the forms will be available at their respective exam centres. Students will be required to pay the application fee of INR 205 for each subject and INR 305 for subjects comprising two papers.

TN Board 12th Class Result – Revaluation

Students, who are not satisfied with their marks, can also apply for Revaluation of their TN board HSC 2020 result, either for all or any subject. It must be noted that only those candidates will be able to apply for the Revaluation, who would have asked for the scanned copy of their answer sheets. In order to apply for the Revaluation, such candidates will be required to submit an application to the concerned Chief Educational Officer. Also, the students will be required to pay INR 505 per subject as the revaluation fees. The authorities will process the request of revaluation in 10-15 working days. 

TN Board 12th Class Result – How to apply for scanned copies of the answer sheet?

Students who are willing to apply for the revaluation of marks, or want to have their answer sheet after the declaration of the result, can apply to get the scanned copies of their answer sheets through their respective schools or exam centres. Such students will be required to pay INR 275 in cash to apply for the same, and will be able to access their answer sheets using their board roll number and date of birth on the official website of the board. 

TN Board 12th Class Result – Compartment Exam

As soon as the result for Tamil Nadu board 12th class 2020 exams is announced, the DGE will commence the conduct the of the compartment exams. Students failing in one or more subjects will get a chance to redeem them by applying for the compartment exams. Instead of wasting another academic year studying for the same class, the failing students can apply for the compartment exam. Most likely, the exams are expected to be conducted in June 2020. How to apply for migration certification after the declaration of the TN Board 12th Class Result 2020?

Students qualifying the Tamil Nadu board HSC exams will require their migration certificates in order to apply for further studies in India or abroad. In order to get their migration certificates, the students will be required to fill the application form and submit it to the Deputy Director of Government Examinations along with application fee of INR 505 which is to be paid through demand draft drawn in the favour of Director of Government Examinations, Chennai.
