Tamil Nadu board has not released any official notification after declaring the date for TN SSLC result 2020 announcement. TN Board Class 10th Result  – How to Check?

Directorate of Government Examination, Tamil Nadu will release the class 10th (SSLC) result on two different servers in order to avoid the traffic load on a single portal. However, the steps to check the Tamil Nadu SSLC result are similar using both the websites. 

  1. Visit the official website of TN result 2020 i.e. tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in
  2. Click on the relevant link to check the result of SSLC examination
  3. Enter the login credentials including registration number and date of birth
  4. Click on the button claiming ‘Get Marks’

TN 10th result will appear on the screen. Check the same and download the TN SSLC mark sheet for future references

Re-totaling of TN Board 10th Result 2020

While taking the TN SSL exam, students have an idea about what approximate score they can expect. In case candidates think that the score evaluation in any of the subjects is not done correctly, they can avail the facility of re-totaling the TN 10th result. For the purpose of re-totaling of the TN Board SSLC results, candidates will have to fill an application form. Along with the application form, candidates are required to pay an amount as the application fee. Candidates can check the application fee for re-totaling of TN SSLC result 2020 in the below table.

Candidates must note that re-totaling will be all about totaling the answers evaluated by the examiner. Through the re-totaling process, only calculation mistakes (if any) will be rectified.

TN SSLC Mark Sheet 2020

After checking TN 10th result, students will come across the thoughts over their mark sheets for Tamil Nadu SSLC examination. Mark sheet of 10th examination will have marks of every subject. Along with the marks in all the subjects, candidates will also find some other details in the TN SSLC mark sheet as follows: 

  • Name of the candidate
  • Name of the subjects
  • Marks in theory examination
  • Marks in Practical examination
  • Total marks in every subject
  • TN 10th result qualifying status (Pass/ Fail)

Passing Criteria in TN 10th Result 

As already discussed, the mark sheet of TN 10th result will have a qualifying status of the examination. It is necessary for the candidates to pass the class 10th examination in order to get promoted in the class 11th or other phases of their career. Candidates are marked pass in the TN SSLC mark sheet only if they are able to score at least 35% marks in every subject. 

TN Board Class 10 Result – Supplementary Examination

If in case a candidate fails in maximum of the subjects for which he/she took the exam, DGE will allow appearing for the supplementary examination. Tamil Nadu 10th supplementary examination is boon to the candidates as a second chance to save their one precious academic year. The candidates will have to fill an application form if they wish to appear for the supplementary exam. The process to check the TN 10th result for the supplementary exam is as same as the TN SSLC result 2020.
