SNAP Cutoff – Dates, Factors, Expected and Previous Years’ Cutoffs

Symbiosis International University offers admission in PG-level management courses at its 16 affiliated institutes on the basis of SNAP test and further selection processes. SNAP cut off 2020 refers to the  minimum qualifying percentile that the candidates need to score in the SNAP test to become eligible for further selection process. Based on the SNAP cut off 2020, all the institutes will prepare a list of candidates shortlisted for GE-PIWAT (Group Exercise, Personal Interview, and Writing Ability Test).

SNAP Cutoff – Determining Factors

After the release of the SNAP result, the participating institutes will release their  SNAP cut off lists to shortlist candidates for GE-PIWAT. While preparing the cutoff for SNAP 2020, the participating institutes will consider a number of variables such as:

  2. Number of candidates qualifying SNAP 
  3. Difficulty level of SNAP 2020
  4. Seat Intake
  5. Reservation policy
  6. Previous year’s cut off trends

Expected SNAP Cut Off 2020 

SNAP 2020 results are expected to be released in the second week of January 2021, followed by the release of  SNAP cut off lists by all Symbiosis institutes. SNAP Selection Process 2020

After shortlisting the candidates, affiliated institutes will conduct GE-PIWAT rounds. The GE-PIWAT is conducted for the purpose of merit list preparation and final admissions of the candidates. The final merit list of SNAP will be prepared by giving a certain weightage to each SNAP admission round, as mentioned in the table below.

✔️ Who will release the SNAP cutoff 2020?

All the 16 institutes affiliated to Symbiosis International University will release the SNAP cutoff separately.

✔️ Is it mandatory to obtain a percentile score greater than or equal to the SNAP cutoff to get shortlisted for further admission rounds?

Yes, the candidature of only those examinees shall be considered who qualify the SNAP cut off of their registered institute(s).

✔️ I did not register for any Symbiosis institute. However, my percentile score qualifies the SNAP cutoff? Can I still participate in the SNAP selection process?

No. Candidates are marked eligible for GE-PIWAT only if they register for particular institute(s) and course(s) of their choice. Thus, it is necessary to complete the institute registration as well.

Symbiosis institutes prepare a SNAP cutoff list based on multiple factors that include seat intake capacity, last year’s cutoff trend, difficulty level of SNAP, number of test-takers, reservation policy, etc.

No. There will be no sectional cutoff for SNAP 2020. There is no mandate for section-wise qualifying scores applicable in the SNAP test.
