SBI PO Admit Card – Dates, How to Download, Do’s & Don’ts

State Bank of India (SBI) released the SBI PO (Probationary Officer) admit card 2020 for preliminary exam on its official website (sbi.co.in) on 22nd December 2020. The SBI PO prelims exam are scheduled to be conducted on 31st December 2020, and 2nd, 4th and 5th January 2021. The candidates who will secure qualifying percentile in the SBI PO prelims exam will be considered eligible to appear for the SBI PO mains exam on 29th January 2021. The SBI PO mains admit card is expected to be released in the 3rd week of January 2021.

SBI releases admit cards separately for all the stages of SBI PO recruitment process:

  1. SBI PO Prelims admit card
  2. SBI PO Mains admit card
  3. SBI PO Interview call letter

In order to download the SBI PO admit card, candidates need to login using their registration ID and password (generated while filling the SBI PO application form).   1. SBI PO admit card 2020 shall be available online only on the SBI’s official website (sbi.co.in).
  2. The authority will not send hard copies of SBI PO admit cards to the applicants individually.
  3. In order to access the admit card online, candidates need to login to the official website with their login credentials i.e., registration number and password.
  4. Only those candidates will get admit card who complete the SBI PO registration process successfully.
  5. Candidates can download their SBI PO hall tickets/admit card until the examination date. However, it is suggested to download admit cards as soon as possible to reserve time for error rectification (in case it occurs).
  6. The mandatory documents that applicants must bring at the exam centre include SBI PO admit card, latest passport size photograph, and one valid photo identity proof.

Candidates must follow the procedure given below to download the SBI PO hall ticket online:

  1. Visit SBI’s official website at sbi.co.in
  2. Click on the ‘Careers’ section and then click on ‘Latest Announcements’
  3. Tap on the given link for ‘SBI PO admit card 2020’
  4. Enter roll number/registration number and password/date of birth
  5. Mention the security captcha code and tap on login button
  6. The admit card will appear on the screen
  7. Click on the download tab and save the admit card
  8. Take 2-3 printouts of the admit card for further use

Note – It is recommended to retain at least one printout of SBI PO admit card until the recruitment process gets over.

  • Aadhar Card (most recommended)

Candidates appearing for SBI PO exam will have to go through the process of biometric verification through the SBI PO admit card. They are advised to reach the exam centre 30 minutes prior to the test timing and undergo the mandatory scanning procedure as given below:

  1. The attendance of the candidates is registered through biometric verification at the test centre.
  2. Scanning of candidates’ retina and left thumb impression complete the biometric verification process.
  3. The applicants who deny to undergo/fail in this biometric verification procedure will not be allowed to appear for the SBI PO exam.

SBI PO Admit Card – How to retrieve password?

Forgetting the password is a common problem faced by many candidates. In such a case, they need to follow the below given process to retrieve their SBI PO login password: 

Step 1 – Visit the official website of SBI (sbi.co.in)

Step 2 – Go to the ‘Careers’ page and click on admit card download link

Step 3 – Click on ‘Forgot Password?’ on login screen 

Step 4 – Enter your SBI PO registration ID and submit the request 

Step 5 – Check your email ID where authority will share your new password

Note – In case you forget your SBI PO registration ID, refer to the previous communication sent by SBI on your email ID as an acknowledgement of your application form submission.

Candidates can access the SBI PO call letter through online mode only. It is probable that they face some technical errors while downloading the admit card. The responsible factors could be connection lapse, non-payment of SBI PO application fee, incomplete registration, etc.
