Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan has notified on its official website that the Rajasthan Eligibility Exam for Teachers or REET 2021 will be held on April 25, 2021. The notification has been released on the official website – rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. The application forms for the REET 2021 exam will be made available on the official website from January 11, 2021 whereas the deadline to fill the application form is February 8, 2021 (till 12 PM).
Rajasthan Eligibility Exam for Teachers or REET 2021 will be conducted by Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan. The state level exam is conducted for the recruitment of teachers for two levels:
- Level I- Primary Teacher ( Class 1 to 5)
- Level II- Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6 to 8)
The REET 2021 exam is being conducted to fill as many as 33,000 posts.

Note: The duration for both the entrance test will be 2.30 hours and the question paper will comprise 150 questions.

REET 2021 – Eligibility Criteria
Primary Teacher or Level-I Exam (For Class 1 to 5)
- Candidate must have secured at least 50% marks in Senior Secondary or equivalent examination
- Candidate must be appearing or must have passed the final year 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
OR appearing in the final year of 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI/B.Ed)
OR appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
OR Graduation along with appearing or passed in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Upper Primary Teacher or Level-II Exam (For Class 1 to 5)
1. Candidate must have secured at least 50% marks in Senior Secondary or equivalent examination and appearing/passed the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.ED)
OR appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed
OR Graduation and appearing in the 1-year B.Ed (Special Education)
OR Graduation with 45% marks and appearing in the 1-year Bachelors in Education
OR Graduation along with appearing or passed in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Note- There is no age limit to apply for REET 2021. Candidates must only satisfy the educational eligibility criteria to be considered eligible to apply for the exam.
