CAT 2020 will be conducted on November 29 in three shifts/slots. The slot timings for the 3 shifts are –

Morning Slot – 8:30 am to 10:30 am

Afternoon Slot – 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm

Evening Slot – 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm

Earlier, Lowalekar had asked the students appearing for IIM CAT 2020 to concentrate on the preparation of the exam. He had reiterated that IIM Indore will not disclose how many questions will be asked in the test.

In 2020, IIM Indore announced significant changes in the CAT exam pattern that included the reduction in the duration of the test from 3 hours to 2 hours. The two-hour CAT 2020 exam shall consist of 3 sections – Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability. While some of the questions will be MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) type, others will be non-MCQ type. However, there has no clarity on the number of questions that will be asked in CAT 2020.
