The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially announced the examination date of the January/February 2021 CA examination. As per the announcement, the CA January/February 2021 examination will be taking place in all the cities where the current November 2020 exam is scheduled. Owing to this, students who are not able to/do not want to appear for the CA November 2020 exam can appear for the CA January/ February 2021 exam.

ICAI has informed that the CA January/February 2021 examination will commence from January 21, 2020. Furthermore, the institute will give out more details related to the examination schedule and admit card release after the final date of the “opt-out” scheme.
The official announcement for January/February 2021 ICAI examination says, “In continuation of announcement dated 7th November 2020, it is informed that January/February 2021 examination will commence from 21st January 2021 in all cities where exam are currently scheduled for November 2020 examination. Further details related to schedule of examination and admit card will be intimated soon after the last date of “opt-out” scheme.”

ICAI Notice to Candidates Appearing for CA November 2020 Examination
ICAI has made a further announcement for “certain categories of candidates stating on social media that despite being tested Covid +ve, they intend to appear for CA exams.” The institute has notified that “false rumour mongering/violation of DMA2015 shall be appropriately dealt with in accordance with law.”
