The TS EAMCET syllabus was released for both Agriculture and Engineering streams by TSCHE. The syllabus has been prescribed by the conducting body of the exam – Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad. Questions in both papers would be based on the 10+2 (or equivalent) syllabus. The mode of examination for TS EAMCET 2022 will be online (computer-based).

TS EAMCET Syllabus – Important Information

  1. Candidates are advised to prepare for TS EAMCET as per the 10+2 syllabus.
  2. As per the TS EAMCET Syllabus, the Agriculture paper will consist of questions from Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany.
  3. On the other hand, the TS EAMCET Engineering paper will consist of questions from Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.

TS EAMCET Syllabus – Agriculture and Medicine

Similar to the Engineering stream, the TS EAMCET paper of Agriculture and Medicine stream contains questions from Physics and Chemistry. However, candidates of Agriculture and Medicine also have Botany as an extra and important subject. The syllabus of Botany is subdivided into:

How many questions will be asked in the TS EAMCET 2022 exam?

A total of 160 questions would be asked in the TS EAMCET 2022 exam. The Engineering stream question paper will have 40 questions each under the Physics and Chemistry sections, and 80 questions will be asked for the Mathematics section. Similarly, in the question paper for Agriculture and Medicine, Physics and Chemistry sections will have 40 questions each and the Biology section will have a total of 80 questions (40 questions each under Botany and Zoology).

Will the marks scored in 10+2 get any weightage during the TS EAMCET final calculation of marks?

Yes. During the final calculation of marks, the TS EAMCET exam marks are given 75% weightage and the Class 10+2 marks are given 25% weightage. Hence, the 10+2 hold importance for the TS EAMCET candidates.
