New Delhi, 22 June 2022: The National Eligibility Entrance Test for Undergraduate 2022 (NEET UG 2022) has not been delayed and will be held on July 17. The Press Information Bureau (PIB) has described the exam postponement notification as being fake. According to the false circular, the NEET UG 2022 exam was rescheduled for 4 September 2022.

Note:
- The Press Information Bureau (PIB) has issued this notice after medical test aspirants used the hashtags #JUSTICEforNEETUG and #DeferNEETUG to seek the postponement of NEET UG 2022 on social media. However, the NTA has not verified any postponement yet.
- The registration process for the NEET UG is over and the admit cards are expected to be released in the week of June.
- Every year, the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) is conducted for the selection of eligible students for undergraduate courses in medical colleges.
- It is advised that candidates must regularly visit the official website of NEET for more updates.

NEET UG 2022: Upper Age Limit Removed
- The National Medical Commission (NMC) has increased the upper age eligibility limit for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) exam.
- From now on, there will be no fixed upper age limit for NEET UG and all candidates who are over 25 years of age can also appear for the exam.
