New Delhi, 19 April 2022 – Tata Consultancy Sevices (TCS) has welcomed applications for its mass hiring drive under the TCS Atlas Hiring initiative for the roles of Data Scientists, Risk Modelers, Model Validators, and Statisticians. Interested candidates can apply for these tech profiles till 20 April 2022.
The current hiring process only welcomes candidates who hold either an M.Sc (in Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics) or an MA (Economics). Also, the candidate’s passing year must be either one of 2020, 2021, or 2022.

How to Apply for TCS Atlas Hiring?
To apply for a career in TCS, you first need to generate your CT/DT ID (also called reference ID, which is a unique ID required for TCS recruitment).
In case you already have a CT/DT ID, please follow the instructions given below:
- Visit the TCS Next Step Portal.
- Click on the Login tab on the top-right.
- Enter email or reference ID (CT/DT), along with password to log in.
- The application form will appear on the screen.
- Fill up the application form with appropriate information.
In case you do not have a CT/DT ID, please follow the instructions given below:
- Visit the TCS Next Step Portal.
- Click on the ‘Register Now’ button.
- Choose the “IT” category from the given list.
- Enter required details including email and submit the application form.
- The CT/DT ID will be created.
- Then visit the TCS Next Step Portal again.
- Click on the Login tab on the top-right.
- Enter email or CT/DT (reference) ID, along with password to log in.
- The application form will appear on the screen.
- Fill up the application form with appropriate information.
Once the application has been submitted, TCS will contact the applicant via email for the remote test.
TCS Atlas Hiring – Eligibility
- Candidates should be between 18 years and 28 years of age.
- Candidates must have passed their master’s in 2020, 2021, or 2022.
- Only full-time PG degrees with specializations in Mathematics/Statistics/Economics will be considered.
- Candidates should have minimum aggregate marks of 60% or a 6.0 CGPA in Class 10, Class 12, Diploma (if applicable), Graduate, and Postgraduate examinations.
- Candidates who passed in 2020 and 2021 should not have any backlogs. They should also have all course completion documents handy.
- For candidates belonging to the passing year 2022, only one backlog is permitted. That being said, all backlogs must be completed within the stipulated course duration.
- It is mandatory to declare gaps in education (if any). Overall educational gap should not exceed 24 months until highest qualification.
- Candidates must have full-time course degrees only. Part-time/correspondence/open course degrees are not allowed.
- Candidates who have completed Class 10 or Class 12 from open boards are eligible to apply if all other courses are full-time.
- Candidates with prior work experience of up to 2 years are eligible. Individuals who have work experience of more than 2 years are not eligible to apply.
- Freshers are eligible to apply.

Is creating a CT/DT ID (reference ID) mandatory to apply for TCS?
Yes, the creation of a CT/DT ID is mandatory to apply for TCS hiring. Once the CT/DT ID is generated, please keep it handy as it will be required to move forward with the hiring process.
I have applied for the TCS hiring drive but have not received any confirmation email, what should I do in this case?
TCS does not provide an acknowledgement email to candidates. Once the form has been filled, selected candidates are contacted by the firm through email for future hiring processes.
What documents are required for the selection process?
All educational documents, including Class 10, Class 12, Diploma (if applicable), UG, and PG marksheets till the last semester are required. In case of non-freshers, all employment-related documents are required, including appointment letter, release letter, and experience letter.
