NCHMCT JEE Syllabus – Syllabus, Composition and Subjects

National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination or NCHMCT JEE is a gateway for aspirants who seek admission in top-notch hotel management institutions in India. With more than 8,000 seats available in more than 71 associated central and private colleges, it becomes essential for students to prepare strategically for this exam. Thus, knowing the format of the exam and covering the syllabus precisely becomes quite crucial. 

Owing to the ongoing corona crisis, the date of the NCHMCT JEE 2020 has been extended by the National Testing Agency (NTA).  Therefore, appearing candidates must utilize this cessation period and plan to sharpen their exam solving skills. Candidates must prepare according to the weightage of the topics and solve previous year question papers for the best possible outcome.

NCHMCT JEE Syllabus – Detailed Syllabus

The NCHMCT JEE 2020 exam will be composed of the following 5 sections:

  1. Numerical Ability & Analytical Aptitude (30 Questions)
  2. Reasoning and Logical Deduction (30 Questions)
  3. General Knowledge and Current Affairs (30 Questions)
  4. English Language (60 Questions)
  5. Aptitude for Service Sector (50 Questions)

It is clearly visible that more than 50% of the exam would feature questions 

related to the English language and aptitude questions related to the service sector. Thus, candidates must prepare for different sections, as per the weightage given to them. On the other hand, time consuming sections like analytical aptitude & numerical ability must be thoroughly practiced by candidates, as managing time is the key to clear any entrance exam. Aspirants must also keep a check on the current affairs happening all around the world.
