JEE Advanced 2021 dates will be announced on Jan 7 – Education Minister

Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal has confirmed that JEE Advanced 2021 dates and eligibility criteria will be duly announced on January 7, 2020 (at 6 pm IST). The JEE Advanced 2021 schedule and eligibility criteria will be announced LIVE by the Union Minister through his official twitter handle. 

Confirming the same, the Minister tweeted yesterday “My dear students, I will announce the eligibility criteria for admissions in #IITs & the date of #JEE Advanced on 7th Jan at 6 PM. Stay tuned!”. It is crucial to note that the JEE Main 2020 qualifying candidates who were not able to appear for JEE Advanced 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic, will be considered eligible to directly appear for the JEE Advanced 2021. Such candidates won’t be required to reappear for the JEE Main 2021.

The Union Education Minister has been conducting several LIVE webinars with students, parents and teachers regarding various upcoming events relevant to the academic year 2020-21. The Education Minister has already announced the JEE Main 2021 schedule. The first session of the JEE Main 2021 will be held from 23 – 26 February 2021, the second session of the exam will be conducted from 15 -18 March 2021, the third session of the exam will be held from 27 – 30 April 2021, while the fourth and last session of the exam will be held from May 24 – 28 2021. Also, he recently notified through his twitter handle that the CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams will be conducted from 4 May to 10 June 2021. The results for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams will be declared by July 15 2021.

As Dr. Pokhriyal had previously announced major changes in the exam pattern and the format of the JEE Main 2021, the students may expect that he may come up with big revelations regarding the JEE Advanced 2021 as well.
