Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has rescheduled the CA Foundation exam (Paper-1, Principles and Practice of Accounting) which was to be held on 8th December 2020. The Foundation exam will now be held on the 13th December 2020 instead of 8th December 2020. It is mentioned in the official notification that the decision to postpone the exam has been taken due to “unavoidable circumstances”. However, the timings and venue for the exam will remain the same i.e., 2 pm to 5 pm (IST).
The admit cards have already been issued and will be valid for the rescheduled date of exam as well. Also, it is clarified that the schedule for other CA Foundation exam dates will remain intact. The notification states that the schedule of examinations notified via notification number 13- CA (Exam)N/2020 dated 21st August 2020 shall remain unchanged. Thus, the CA Foundation exam will now be held on 10th, 12th, 13th and 14th December 2020 respectively.

Meanwhile, the exam officials have decided to shift a total of 15 CA Foundation exam centres in Kerala as the exam dates are clashing with the local elections.
