Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official schedule of the UPSC IFS (Indian Forest Service) Mains 2020 on 8th December 2020. The notification was released on the official website of UPSC- www.upsc.gov.in. The UPSC IFS Mains exam 2020 will be conducted on 28th February 2021 and from 2nd to 7th March 2021 as well. It is important to know that the UPSC IFS Mains exam has 6 descriptive papers, each of which will be held on 6 different days respectively (28 February and 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 March).ย ย
Candidates who have cleared the UPSC Civil Services (Prelims) exam conducted on 4th October 2020, will be considered eligible to appear for the IFS Mains exam 2020. The Civil Services exam is conducted for the recruitment of officers at All India Level by the Indian Government. The primary mandate of IFS service is the implementation and execution of the National Forest Policy, which aims at scientific management of forests around the country. A candidate can give as many as 6 attempts at the UPSC IFS examination. There are a total of 90 vacancies available through the UPSC IFS 2020.
