CBSE Releases Board Exams Date Sheet for Minor Subjects, Read Details Here

New Delhi, 22 October 2021 – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the date sheets for minor subjects for Class 10 and 12 Term-1 board exams. Earlier, the board released the date sheet for major subjects and it was stipulated that the dates for minor subjects exams will be given separately to schools. However, the board has now released the entire schedule for minor subjects on its website.ย

CBSE Term-1 Board Exams – Schedule for Minor Subjects

Examinations for Class 10 will start on 17 November with โ€˜Paintingโ€™ and conclude on 7 December with subjects like โ€˜Arabicโ€™, โ€˜Frenchโ€™, โ€˜Germanโ€™, โ€˜Carnatic Musicโ€™, among others. Exams for Class 12 will start on 16 November with โ€˜Entrepreneurshipโ€™ and โ€˜Beauty & Wellnessโ€™ and conclude on 30 December with โ€˜Agricultureโ€™ and โ€˜Mass Media Studiesโ€™. Most exams for minor subjects will take place between 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM, while a few start at 11:30 AM and end at 12:30 PM.ย

CBSE has stated that if a student needs more information about board exams 2021-22, they can consult their admit cards. All board-affiliated schools are also instructed to help students with any queries that they might have regarding the exams. Students Advised to Not Trust Outside Sources – CBSE

CBSE has requested the students to not consider any information circulated on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, among others. Students are advised to only believe the information they find on CBSE’s official website. If they find any details from outside sources, students must verify these first from their schools or the official website for correctness. This is done in light of recent instances where fake date sheets were circulated on social media platforms causing unrest among students and parents.ย
