As notified by the authority, no change in the paper pattern is recommended for the AP EAMCET exam this year. JNTUK is yet to declare the final schedule of the AP EAMCET 2022 exam through its official notification.
The AP EAMCET exam consists of two papers – Engineering and Agriculture & Medical. The AP EAMCET question paper for the Engineering stream consists of 3 sections and the question paper for the Agriculture stream contains 4 sections. The mode of exam for both streams is online. The medium of the test is bilingual and the total exam duration is 3 hours. - The 3 sections that are included in the AP EAMCET Engineering stream question paper are Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. On the other hand, the AP EAMCET Agriculture paper comprises of 4 sections namely Zoology, Botany, Chemistry and Physics
- As per the AP EAMCET exam pattern, both the papers are available in English and Telugu or English and Urdu (at Kurnool centre only)
- The AP EAMCET question paper comprises a total of 160 questions holding a weightage of 1 mark for each question

AP EAMCET Exam Pattern – Instructions for Computer-based Test
Candidates must keep themselves updated about the guidelines of the online exam as directed by JNTUK. They can refer to the below-given instructions to avoid any inconvenience inside the examination hall:
Reporting-related instructions
- Candidates must visit the test centre at the given time with the AP EAMCET admit card and other important documents.
- Biometric verification and other pre-examination formalities are initiated by the concerned authorities before the candidates’ entry inside the exam hall.
Login-related instructions
- The test takers are directed toward the allotted computer system where their photographs and other details are visible
- Ten minutes prior to the examination, the invigilator directs the candidates to enter their admit card number and password (shared by the invigilator only) so as to login into the online test
Examination-related instructions
- Exam-related instructions will flash on the screen once the test takers successfully log into the online exam dashboard
- The test takers are allowed to seek help from the invigilator in case of any trouble or doubt before the commencement of the exam. Once the test begins, the invigilator is not liable to answer the queries of the candidates
- Candidates must read the instructions carefully and click on the ‘next’ button to proceed further
- Once the test takers tap on ‘I am ready to login’ tab, the exam will begin
- After hitting the login button, the countdown will begin and the test takers can see the remaining time at the top right corner of the screen
- As soon as the timer reaches zero, the test will get stopped automatically, whether or not the candidates have completed the exam. The system will save the answers to the attempted questions
- Candidates have to select one section from PCM or BiPC and start the test. Note that section can be altered anytime
- The question paper is available in either English or Telugu language at a time
- Candidates can answer questions from a particular section in any order as per their convenience. For this, they only need to keep their eye on the right hand corner of the screen for choosing the questions
- The ‘Save & Next’ button is available at the end of every question
- ‘Mark for Review and Next’ tab is available to recheck the answers
- ‘Zoom In’ or ‘Zoom Out’ options are meant for changing the font size of the questions
- In the end, the system will display the statistics of the questions attempted, not attempted, answered, not answered, marked for review etc. Candidates need to give their confirmation by tapping on the ‘Yes’ button
