Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyalβs twitter handle has been recently flooded with tweets from students demanding an update on the NEET 2021 exam dates. The tweets poured in instantly after yesterdayβs LIVE webinar conducted by the Union Education Minister regarding the exam dates and eligibility for the JEE Advanced 2021. The official twitter handle of Dr. Pokhriyal has been receiving such tweets most likely due to the fact that the Ministry has still not informed much about the NEET 2021 examination, which is the most prominent medical entrance exam in the country.
Candidates have shown outrage on why βNEET 2021 is being sidelined by JEE Main, JEE Advanced and even Board exams 2021β. An aspiring candidate tweeted – βWhat about NEET dates? βSay something about NEET dates, it is as important as that of JEEβ. Another NEET aspirant, while emphasizing his concern over the preparation strategy, tweeted- βHow can we prepare when we have no idea about whatβs going to happen. We donβt know if the NEET 2021 Syllabus would remain the same, or if there would be any change in the examination pattern. It wouldnβt be surprising if, at the last minute, we get informed about some major changesβ. Yet another student showed his disappointment at the Ministry for already being too late to disclose the crucial updates on NEET 2021. The student tweeted – βItβs too late already. You did not decide anything on NEET 2021 while JEE candidates are heaving a sigh of relief. Please confirm the date of syllabus of NEETΒ for this academic session. A different student requested the Ministry through a tweet toΒ βPlease give relaxation to NEET aspirants too like JEE aspirants and please announce the dates as soon as possibleβ.
Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal has already conducted multiple webinars discussing information on JEE Main 2021, CBSE board exams 2021 and most recently on the JEE Advanced 2021. Some major changes have been made to the JEE Main 2021 format which now includes 4 sessions for the exam and revised exam pattern as well.Β
The CBSE board exam syllabus has also been reduced to 30% from the previous year. In addition to this, the Ministry has announced a relaxation in eligibility for the JEE Advanced 2021.Β
