The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is likely to postpone the UP Board Class 10 and 12 board examination 2021 due to the three-tier Panchayat polls in the state. Since the Panchayat elections in UP will most-likely be taking place in the last week of April, the UP board exams is expected to be shifted to the month of May. The State Election Commission is likely to release the official schedule for elections on 27 March 2021.
UP Boards Unlikely to Begin from 24 April – Details
The UP Board exams 2021 for high school and intermediate were scheduled to begin from 24 April. However, there are high chances of this date being re-scheduled due to the clash with Panchayat polls.
UP Deputy CM confirms delay – Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma has reportedly clarified that the UP Board exams 2021 will only be held after the Panchayat elections. Hence, a new board exam schedule is expected to be out soon after the announcement of the Panchayat polls dates. At the same time, Sharma stated that the UP Board results will be declared by mid-June.
Note: The Election Commission is expected to conclude the 3-tier panchayat polls within 42 days.
Shift in board exam result date – The UP Board Class 10 and 12 exam results were scheduled to be announced around 10 June 2021. However, now with an expected delay, the result date is expected to shift to 15-20 June 2021.
