UPSC CDS 1ย  Result 2023 – 6552 Qualify for SSB Interview

New Delhi, 24 March 2021 – The Union Public Service Commission has released the UPSC CDS 1 Result 2021 (written exam) in online mode on Tuesday, 23rd March 2021. Candidates can check their results from the official website โ€“ www.upsc.gov.in.ย 

The result has been released in PDF format and contains information such as the names and roll numbers of all the qualified candidates. Besides the CDS result 2021, UPSC has also released the cut off of this exam.ย 

The UPSC CDS 1 exam was conducted in offline mode on 7th February 2021. The candidature of all the candidates whose roll numbers are available in the list is provisional.

Important Information Regarding SSB Interview: All the candidates who have qualified in the written exam and have given their first option/ choice as Army (IMA/OTA) have to register themselves online on the Recruiting Directorate’s official website – www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Only after the completion of the registration process, the candidates will receive the call-up information for the SSB interview. Candidates who have already registered themselves on the Recruiting Directorate’s website must not register again.ย

UPSC CDS 1 Mark Sheetย 

The exam authority has announced that they will also put on the mark sheets of those candidates who have not qualified in the written test of CDS 2021. The mark sheets would be uploaded on the Union Public Service Commissionโ€™s (UPSC) website within 15 days from the publishing date of the final result of OTA (Officers Training Academy). The OTA exam will take place after the completion of the SSB interview. The mark-sheets of the candidates will remain available on the website for 30 days.ย 

Furthermore, according to the conditions of admission to the examination, candidates are required to submit their original certificates in support of their age (date of birth) and educational qualifications.

They must submit the original certificates not later than 1st January 2022 for IMA & INA and not later than 13th November 2021 for AFA. In case of the SSC course, the documents must be submitted not later than 1st April 2022.

What Will Happen After UPSC CDS 1 Result 2021?

According to the latest information, 6552 candidates have qualified for the interview round. This interview round will be conducted by the Service Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence. The candidates who will pass this round will be shortlisted for admission to:

  1. Indian Military Academy, Dehradun 152th Course commencing in January 2022
  2. Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course (211 F(P)) commencing in January 2022
  3. Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 29th SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course commencing in April 2022
  4. Officers Training Academy, Chennai 115th SSC Course (NT) (for Men) commencing in April 2022
  5. Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, Course commencing in in January 2022
