UP Board Class 12 Exam 2021: The practical exams for UP Board Class 12 students to be held in two phases wherein the first phase will be held from 03rd February 2021 to 12th February 2021, and the second phase will be held from 13th February 2021 to 22nd February 2021 under CCTV surveillance. 

On Thursday, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) released a notification regarding the UP Board Class 12 practical examinations. It said, โ€œThe practical examinations for Class 12 students will be conducted in two phases.โ€ As per the official notification, the practical exams will be conducted in the following manner โ€“

Phase Key Dates Zones
First Phase February 3, 2021 to February 12, 2021 Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Faizabad, Azamgarh, Devipatan, and Basti
Second Phase February 13, 2021 to February 22, 2021 Aligarh, Meerut, Muradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur

Adding to this, the Board further advised to follow the necessary guidelines and social distancing norms while conducting the UP board Class 12 practical examinations. Also, to maintain the transparency of the examination, the board has asked the school principals to conduct the examination under CCTV surveillance. They have been directed to keep the recordings preserved and produced them to the board, if asked. 

The students must keep in mind that the assessment of the practical exams will be done by both internal and external examiners. While the internal examiner can give up to 50% of the total marks, the external examiner can also give 50% of the total marks. 

Furthermore, the notification specified that the UP Board Class 10 examination will be conducted at school level through internal evaluation (project work), just like the previous year. The private students who are appearing for UP Board Class 10 examination 2021 can contact the Principals of their respective exam centres to know about their participation in the practical exam.
