NCHMCT JEE Application 2020 – Revised Dates, Procedure of Application & Other Relevant Facts

NCHMCT JEE 2020 application commenced from 1st January 2020. While initially the deadline date for the application was set as 20th March 2020, the National Test Agency (NTA), governing body of the NCHM JEE exam, decided to extend the application deadline to the 31st March 2020. This was due to the massive number of requests from the aspiring candidates. 

However, according to the latest updates, it is now confirmed that the deadline for the application has been further extended to the 15th May 2020. This successive extension has taken place due to the massive outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. National Testing Agency (NTA) had recently announced that the NCHMCT JEE 2020 will be conducted on the 22nd June 2020 from 3 pm to 6 pm. However, MHRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal tweeted on the 7th June 2020 that the NCHMCT JEE 2020 will be postponed even further. This article would specifically emphasize on the application part of the NCHMCT JEE exam including the  procedure of application, required documents and other essential exam-related information. 

Important Update- MHRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal tweeted on 7th June 2020 that the NCHMCT JEE 2020 will be further postponed. NTA recently announced on 25th May 2020 that the entrance exam would take place on 22nd June 2020 but due to massive number requests from students and analyzing the current situation, the MHRD minister made the announcement. New dates will be notified shortly on the official website of ‘NTA’.

NCHMCT JEE Eligibility Criteria

Aspiring candidates who wish to apply for the NCHMCT JEE 2020 must fulfill the eligibility criteria to stay eligible for appearing in the exam. Candidates must have passed the 10 + 2 exam from a recognized university with passing marks in the 5 main subjects. You must also satisfy the age criteria according to the respective category you belong to. If a candidate is found ineligible for the exam, at any point during the procedure, then his/her candidature would be discarded by the exam authority.

Qualifying Examinations which are accepted by the NCHMCT Authority

Candidates must have completed their 10 + 2 or equivalent from a recognized board or university with English and 4 other main subjects. Aspirants who are appearing in the qualifying examination for the academic session 2019-2020 will also be considered eligible to apply for the NCHMCT JEE 2020 provided they must possess their result at the time of NCHMCT JEE counselling.

  • Candidates must have passed the 10 + 2 level examination from a recognized Central or State Board.

  • Candidates, who have obtained qualifying marks in the General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) with advanced A-level, will be considered eligible to apply for the NCHMCT JEE 2020.
  • Candidates who have passed the H.S.C Vocational Examination approved by NCVT and SCVT of the respective state, will be considered eligible for the NCHMCT JEE.
  • Aspirants, passing the qualifying examination from any School/University/Board in India or foreign country validated by the Association of Indian Universities, will be considered eligible.
  • Candidates, passing the Senior Secondary School Examination from the National Open School with 5 main subjects including English, will be considered eligible to appear for the NCHMCT JEE.

Age Limit

  • The upper limit for the candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories is 25 years as on 1st July 2020.
  • The upper limit for the candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories is 28 years as on 1st July 2020.

  • Candidates may visit the official website of the NCHMCT and click on the tab mentioning ‘Apply’. 
  • Instantly, the user would be redirected to the page mentioning the instructions and other prerequisites essential for the application. 
  • Candidates must precisely read out all the essential details mentioned in the brochure. 
  • Eligibility and other crucial details must be adequately interpreted by the candidates. 
  • After going through the information mentioned in the brochure, candidates must acknowledge ‘I have downloaded information and went through the entire instructions’.

Security Pin

  1. Candidates may go through the instructions again and may edit the final registration before submitting the application. 
  2. Then, candidates must enter the security pin and submit. 
  3. Instantly, a pop up option will occur, instructing the candidates to make final changes to the application form (if any). 
  4. If any candidate wants to make changes to the registration form, click on the tab mentioning ‘Edit Registration Form’. 
  5. Finally, candidates may click on the ‘Final Submit’ button which will ensure a final submission of the form.

Students must fill in the authentic educational details of class 10th and class 12th or other equivalents. Candidates must select the options from the drop down menu for the application of the form.

Download the confirmation page

Candidates may download the print out of the official confirmation page after the successful payment of fee. In case of failed generation of the confirmation, the amount will be refunded. Candidate may have to apply for another transaction in this case.

Print the Application for the NCHMCT JEE 2020 exam

After the confirmation of the payment is done, the candidate will be assigned an “automatically generated application number”. Then, the candidate must take the final print out to complete the application process of the exam.
