JEE Main to be conducted in more regional languages from 2021
The Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal announced on Thursday that the Joint Admission Board (JAB) will be conducting the Joint Entrance Exam Main (JEE Main) in more regional Indian languages from next year onwards. This announcement has been made in line with the vision of New Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which encourages the use of regional languages in school education.Â

In the last update, the Joint Admission Board had allowed the JEE aspirants who missed their JEE Advanced 2020 exams to reappear for the IIT JEE 2021 exam. IIT Delhi Director, V.Ramgopal Rao had written the following statement on his twitter handle, “Final JAB decision related to giving an additional chance to students who could not take JEE Advanced 2020.”
