NEET Counselling 2020 (UG) schedule has been released for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats offered by Central and Deemed Universities, AIIMS and JIPMER institutes. For 85% State Quota seats, NEET Counselling 2020 will be conducted by respected state authorities individually. The full schedule has been released on the official website mcc.nic.in.
NEET Counselling 2020 Schedule – Details
Registration for Round 1 of NEET Counselling
- As per schedule, the registration for NEET Counselling 2020 First Round will begin from October 27 and end on November 2 (5:00 PM).
- Candidates who have qualified NEET 2020 will be able to pay the registration fee till 7:00 PM on November 2.
Choice Filling and Locking Facility โ Round 1
- After registration, the choice filling and locking facility will also be opened. In this part of the NEET counselling process, candidates will have to select the courses and colleges of their choice, and mark them in order of their preference.
- The choice filling process will be conducted from October 28 till November 2
- Candidates can lock their course and college choices from 4:00 PM to 11:59 PM on November 2.
Seat Allotment and Result โ Round 1
- Thereafter, the process of seat allotment will be conducted from November 3 to November 4.
- The result of NEET Counselling 2020 First Round will be declared on November 5. Satisfied candidates who wish to take the seat given to them will have to report at the allotted college between November 6 and November 12, and undergo document verification. If candidates decide to not accept the seat, they will have to wait for the next round. Please note that only the remaining available seats will be offered in the second round of NEET counselling.
Registration for Round 2 of Counselling
- The registration for second round of NEET 2020 Counselling will be held from November 18 to November 22 (3:00 PM).
- Candidates will be able to submit their registration fee till November 22 (5:00 PM).
Choice Filling and Locking Facility โ Round 2
- Candidates will be able to fill their choices from November 19 to November 22.
- They will be able to lock their choices from 3:00 PM to 11:59 PM on November 22.
Seat Allotment and Result โ Round 2
- The NEET 2020 Seat Allotment Process for Round 2 will be conducted from November 23 to November 24.
- The result for the second round of seat allotment will be declared on November 25.
- All the candidates who are offered a seat will have to report between November 26 and December 2.
NEET Mop-up Round
- As of now, only 2 counselling rounds have been scheduled. In case a few seats are left vacant, a mop up round will be held on December 10.
- The registration process will take place from December 10 to December 14.
- The choice filling window will open from December 11 to December 14.
- Candidates will be able to lock their choices from 3:00 PM to 11:59 PM on December 14.
- The result for the mop up round will be announced on December 17.
