IPU CET Syllabus
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University prescribes the IPU CET course-wise syllabus to help the candidates with strategic preparation plans. While the IPU CET syllabus 2020 will be helpful for the candidates who take the IPU CET entrance test, admission to some of the courses including B.Tech, Integrated law, MBBS, MBA, B.Arch is done on the basis of national level entrance exams, i.e. JEE Main, CLAT, NEET, CAT and NATA. GGSIPU has planned a major shift of exam mode from offline to online for IPU CET 2020. As per the exam pattern and syllabus of IPU CET 2020, the question paper will be divided in four sections for most of the courses. It is advisable to the candidates taking the entrance test to get acquainted with the course-wise syllabus, sectional weightage and other pivotal aspects of IPU CET syllabus 2020. Â

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts IPU CET for offering admission to various courses. However, enrollment in some courses at GGSIPU requires the candidates to qualify national level examinations in relevant disciplines. The table below includes all the courses for which the candidates need to appear for the national level tests.

While the admission for other B.Tech courses is based on the candidates’ JEE Main scores, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts IPU CET for admission in B.Tech Biotechnology program. Candidates will be asked questions from the four sections mentioned below:

Other than regular admissions, GGSIPU also offers lateral entry admission in B.Tech second year. For the purpose of B.Tech LE admission in IP University, candidates will have to appear for IPU CET (Paper Code 129). Candidates will have to answer questions from the sections tabulated below.

Candidates will be able to enrol for an MBA at GGSIPUJj on the basis of CAT. If the seats remain vacant, CMAT qualifiers will be considered. At last, if the seats still remain vacant, the IPU CET qualifiers will be offered admission. The IPU CET for MBA admission will have the following sections.

As already discussed, GGSIPU offers various courses, one of which is the M.A. in Mass Communication. In order to get admission in MA (MC), candidates will have to answer questions from the sections mentioned in the table below:

Candidates who wish to pursue a two-year PG course of M.A. in Criminology will have to appear for the IPU CET as per the schedule. Question paper for IPU CET – 118 will have questions from the following sections.Â
The IPU CET syllabus for BCA is categorised into four sections, each carrying a different weightage of marks. Candidates will have to prepare for the following sections in order to qualify IPU CET for BCA:

GGSIPU also offers Bachelor of Education to graduates in relevant disciplines. IPU CET for B.Ed. is different from the other courses as the medium of question paper will be in Hindi as well. *Note – The Question Paper shall be set both in English and Hindi Language. (Except the English Comprehension Section which shall only be in English). Candidates even applying through Hindi medium need to attempt this section in English language only.Â
Bachelors of Business Administration offered by GGSIPU receives a large number of applicants every year. The competition will be tough for this course due to the humongous number of test-takers competing for limited seats. Candidates must prepare as per the IPU CET syllabus for BBA mentioned in the table below to qualify the exam with flying colours.

For admission to various disciplines of Bachelors of Arts, GGSIPU will design the IPU CET question paper from topics under three sections only. B.A. English candidates will have to prepare as per the sections mentioned in the table below to qualify the examination.

GGSIPU admission into B.Sc. Nursing is different in terms of eligibility as well as in terms of the number of sections in the entrance test paper. All the candidates taking the IPU CET for B.Sc. Nursing admission will have to prepare as per the sections in the IPU CET syllabus tabulated below:Â
