Board Exams 2021 Delayed – Check board-wise status in various states

Amid the rising coronavirus cases across the country, various state governments have decided to postpone the Class 10 and Class 12 state board examinations 2021. For instance, the MP Board Class 10 and 12 exams 2021 were supposed to begin from April 30, 2021 onwards, but have now been delayed until June 2021. 

Similarly, a number of other state boards have already taken the decision of either shelving or postponing the 2021 board examinations. Let’s look at a compiled list of the same below –

Madhya Pradesh Board
  • Board exams delayed till June 2021. Fresh dates to be declared soon.
  • Practical exams (earlier scheduled to begin on 17 Apr) have also been extended. Officials have been instructed to conduct exams by May 15, 2021. 
Maharashtra Board (HSC and SSC exams)
  • Class 12 HSC exams (earlier scheduled to begin on April 23) postponed to end of May
  • Class 10 SSC exams (earlier scheduled to begin on April 29) postponed to June
Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE)
  • The Himachal Pradesh Class 10 and 12 board examinations began today i.e., 13 Apr and are slated to end on 10 May
Chhattisgarh Board CGBSE 
  • The Class 10 state board examinations in Chhattisgarh (earlier scheduled to be held from April 15 to May 1) have been cancelled. Students shall be given general promotion to the next class. 
  • The Class 12 state board examinations in Chhattisgarh are scheduled to be held from 2 May to 24 May. A final declaration on the postponement or cancellation of the Class 12 exams is still to be made.  

 
Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board
  • The UP Board Class 10 examination 2021 has been rescheduled and will now begin on 8 May and end on 25 May (the earlier schedule was from 24 April to 10 May)
  • The UP Board Class 12 examination 2021 has been rescheduled and will now begin on 8 May and end on 28 May (the earlier schedule was from 9 April onwards)
Punjab School Education Board
  • The Punjab Board Class 10 examination 2021 has been rescheduled and will now begin on 20 April and end on 24 May (the earlier schedule was from 22 March onwards)
The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) 
  • No change in schedule
  • Timings of board exams 2021 rescheduled – the exams of secondary and senior secondary classes will now start from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm (instead of 12:30 noon)
Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UKBSE) No change in schedule
Arunachal Pradesh Board No change in schedule
West Bengal Board No change in schedule
Assam Board No change in schedule
Sikkim Board No change in schedule
Tripura Board No change in schedule
Nagaland Board No change in schedule
Meghalaya Board No change in schedule
