New Delhi, 3 March 2023 – UPPSC PCS 2023 – The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) will start accepting applications for the Provincial Civil Service (PCS) Examination on 3 March 2023.
Eligible candidates can submit applications on the UPPSC’s official website.
The deadline for submitting applications is 6 April 2023. This recruitment process aims to fill 173 administrative positions.

UPPSC PCS 2023 – Eligibility
Age
- Candidates who are interested in applying for the exam must be between the ages of 21 and 40.
- According to the rules, age restrictions for reserved and other categories will be relaxed.
Educational Qualifications
- Sub Registrar, Assistant Prosecuting Officer (Transport): Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in law.
- District Basik Shiksha Adhikari / Associate DIOS and other equivalent administrative posts, District Administrative Officer: Candidates must have a master’s degree in any stream.
- District Audit Officer (Revenue Audit): Candidates must hold a B.Com degree from a recognised Indian university.
- Assistant Controller Legal Measurement (Grade-I) / (Grade-II): Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Science or Mechanical Engineering.
- Senior Lecturer, DIET: Candidates must hold a master’s degree as well as a B.Ed.
- Chemist: Candidates must have an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry and at least three years of experience.
- Officer on Special Duty Computer: Candidates must hold a computer engineering degree or a first-class master’s degree, as well as a PG diploma in computer science and one year of experience.
- District Cane Officer, U.P. Agriculture Service Group “B” (Development Branch): Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in agriculture.
- Labour Enforcement Officer: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Sociology, or Commerce, as well as a postgraduate diploma or degree in Law / Labor relations / Labor welfare / Labor Law / Commerce / Sociology / Social work / Social welfare / Trade Management / Personnel Management.
- Management Officer / Manager Estate Department: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Sociology, or Commerce, as well as a postgraduate diploma or degree in Law, Labour Relations, Labour Welfare, Labour Law, Commerce, Sociology, Social Work, Trade Management, or Personnel Management.
- Technical Assistant Geophysics: Candidates must hold a master’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks in Geophysics, Applied Geophysics, Geology, or Applied Geology (with Physics and Mathematics at the B.Sc. level).
- Tax Assessment Officer: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Economics or Commerce with a minimum of 55%.

Step 2: Candidates must click the “One Time Registration (O.T.R.) for Applicants” link on the top right corner of the page.

Step 4: Applicants must now register by providing all required information.
Step 5: After that, candidates must return to the UPPSC homepage and click the “What’s New” link.

Step 7: Candidates must fill out the application form, pay the exam fee, and submit in the document.
