TS EAMCET – Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University (JNTU), Hyderabad, on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education or TSCHE, conducts the TS EAMCET exam. Telangana Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test or TS EAMCET is conducted to shortlist candidates seeking admissions in UG level Agriculture, Engineering and Medical/Pharmacy programs offered by institutions in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The TS EAMCET exam is divided into 2 streams. Candidates can appear for the exam in the stream of their choice, as per the UG course they want to pursue:
1. Engineering Stream – For students who want to pursue B.E./B.Tech./B.Tech.(Ag. Engg.)/B.Tech.(DairyTechnology)/B.Tech.(FT)/B.Tech.(BioTechnology)/B.Pharm.(MPC)/Pharm-D(MPC)

- From 2021, there will be 55% weightage of 1st year and 45% weightage of 2nd year Intermediate syllabus of TS Board of Intermediate Education.
- TS EAMCET notification was released on 6th April 2022.
- TS EAMCET 2022 exam will be conducted in two shifts on each day.

TS EAMCET 2022 – Key Highlights
- Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad conducts TS EAMCET on behalf of TSCHE.

- The examination is conducted via online mode (computer-based).

Step 1 – Application Fee Payment
Candidates can fill up the application form by visiting the official TS EAMCET 2022 website after paying the registration fees.
To pay the application fee, the candidates can choose from the following payment modes:

Candidates have to choose a Help Line Centre for document/certificate verification and options entry for TS EAMCET counselling.
Step 3 – Printout of Application Form
Before submitting the application form, candidates must check and verify the details they have entered. Once the details are checked, candidates must read the declaration at the end of the page and click on ‘I accept the Terms & Conditions’. Finally, they can complete the TS EAMCET application process by clicking on ‘submit’. At this point, a message box will pop up; candidates must click on ‘OK’ to submit the application form or on ‘Cancel’ to verify and edit the application form.
After the form is submitted, the candidates must download or take a print out of the submitted application by clicking on the ‘Download’ or ‘Print Application’ button. They should also note down their registration number displayed on the screen for future reference.
Guidelines for Form Submission
Candidates should read the ‘User Guide’ carefully, especially the ‘mandatory details’ to avoid mistakes while filling the application form.
Here are a few important guidelines that candidates should follow diligently:
- Candidates can submit only one application form. The board will reject the application of the candidate who will submit multiple forms.
- One-time correction opportunity is offered to candidates by the board to rectify the mistakes made in the application form.

- TS EAMCET 2022 hall ticket will be released prior to the examination
TS EAMCET – Application Form Correction Window
As per the recent information bulletuin, the TS EAMCET application form correction window will open for a limited period, from 30th May 2022 to 6th June 2022.
TS EAMCET – Admit Card
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad has not announced the final release dates of the TS EAMCET admit card yet. However, candidates should note that the TS EAMCET admit card 2022 will be released on 25th June 2022 and the portal to download the admit card will close on 11 July 2022. Candidates must remember that the admit cards will not be sent by post. The admit cards will be made available only via online mode and candidates can download them from the official exam portal.
In order to download the admit cards, candidates need to enter their registration number, qualifying exam hall ticket and date of birth on the login page. They will not be allowed to enter the examination venue if they fail to bring the below list of documents:
- Print out of filled-in TS EAMCET Application Form
- TS EAMCET Admit Card
- Passport Size Photograph, as uploaded in the application form
- Attested Copy of Caste Certificate (for SC/ST candidate)

TS EAMCET – Guidelines for Exam Day
While appearing for the TS EAMCET exam, candidates must follow the JNTU-prescribed instructions and guidelines, as highlighted below:
- The candidate/s must report at the examination centre at least an hour before the allotted exam time
- Candidates arriving at the examination centre even 1 minute late than the allotted exam time will not be allowed to sit for the examination
- The candidate will have to go for biometrics routine before starting the exam (photograph and signature verification)
- The candidate/s must compulsorily bring the filled-in application form print out (not xeroxes/copies) and admit card. The Test Centre officials will verify both the hall ticket and application form before the exam starts
- Candidates must correctly fill in the login ID, as given on the TS EAMCET hall ticket, to log in to the examination test portal
- Candidates will be provided with the login password by the examination invigilator 10 minutes before the test starts
- Admit cards must be in good condition. Dismantled, disfigured or mutilated admit cards that compromise the details of the candidate will not be accepted
- Candidates will only be allowed to carry blue or black ballpoint pen, caste certificate (SC/ ST), TS EAMCET hall ticket and application form inside the examination hall
- Candidates will not be allowed to carry mathematical/log tables, electronic watches, calculator, pager, bluetooth devices and cell phone inside the examination hall
TS EAMCET – Exam Centres
JNTU will conduct TS EAMCET 2022 exam in 55 cities across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The exam centre allotted to each candidate will be printed on their respective admit cards. Please note that the candidates cannot make the changes once the preferred centres are submitted by them during the application process.

TS EAMCET – Answer Key
TSCHE will release the preliminary answer key for Engineering stream on the official TS EAMCET website after successfully conducting the examination. The answer key for Agriculture & Medicine exams will be released once the exams are conducted. Candidates can download the answer key in PDF format. Candidates can calculate their probable scores with the help of TS EAMCET answer key and response sheet, much before the results are declared.
Candidates who have taken the test can raise objections against the preliminary answer key if they find any discrepancy or error. Candidates will have to pay a certain objection fee to file their objection/s. If the TS EAMCET authority evaluates and finds the error to be genuine, they will not only publish the rectified final answer key but also refund the objection fee. However, candidates cannot raise objections against the answers published in the final answer key.
TS EAMCET – Result
As of now, the schedule for TS EAMCET result declaration remains unannounced. Once the exams are conducted, and the notification for the results is out, candidates can check their results online by using their registration number, TS EAMCET hall ticket number and date of birth on the official TS EAMCET website.
Candidates must download a copy of their result and verify the details highlighted below:

TS EAMCET – Cutoff
TSCHE publishes the TS EAMCET cutoff after the results are announced. Candidates who qualify as per the cutoff are applicable to take part in the TS EAMCET counselling procedure. The exam authority releases the cutoff separately for both the Engineering and Agriculture & Medicine streams.
To qualify, candidates need to obtain a minimum of 25% marks. This, after calculation, stands to be a total of 40 marks out of 160 marks. However, the TS EAMCET admission cutoff depends upon the participating institutes.

TS EAMCET – Counselling
The TS EAMCET counselling process will be conducted by TSCHE in online mode. The counselling process will be held in 3 rounds for all the shortlisted candidates. Candidates have to follow the steps mentioned below to appear for the TS EAMCET counselling and seat allotment process:

When will the TS EAMCET exam take place?
TSCHE has recently announced the exam dates for TS EAMCET. As per the new exam schedule, TS EAMCET exam 2022 for the engineering stream will be conducted on the 18th, 19th and 20th July 2022. Meanwhile, TS EAMCET exam for agriculture and medicine stream will be held on 14th July and 15th July 2022.
What is the last date for applying for the TS EAMCET 2022?
The last to apply for TS EAMCET is 7th July 2022 with a late fee of Rs. 5,000.
How many seats are available in TS EAMCET 2022?
The total number of seats allotted to the Engineering stream candidates are 49012. There are 30 allotted seats for Pharm D candidates and 87 for B. Pharmacy candidates.
How many questions will be asked in the TS EAMCET 2022 exam?
A total of 160 questions would be asked in the TS EAMCET 2022 exam. The Engineering stream question paper will have 40 questions each under the Physics and Chemistry sections, and 80 questions will be asked for the Mathematics section. Similarly, in the question paper for Agriculture and Medicine, Physics and Chemistry sections will have 40 questions each and the Biology section will have a total of 80 questions (40 questions each under Botany and Zoology).
Does TS EAMCET have negative marking?
No. There is no negative marking for any wrong or unattempted answer. Hence, candidates can attempt all the questions without worrying about negative marking.
