SSC (Staff Selection Commission) conducts the SSC CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) exam is a recruitment exam to fill vacancies in various government departments for the post of:

SSC CHSL – Highlights
- The Staff Selection Commission acts as the regulatory body to conduct SSC CHSL.
- A total of 4893 vacancies are to be filled through the SSC CHSL 2022.
- Candidates qualifying in one tier are eligible for participation in the subsequent tier of SSC CHSL.
- Candidates recruited through the SSC CHSL exam will enjoy a pay scale ranging from INR 19,900 (Level 2) to INR 81,100 (level 4) depending on their respective posts.

SSC CHSL – Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are required to fulfil the SSC CHSL eligibility criteria for taking the recruitment exam. Any candidate who is found ineligible at any stage of the SSC CHSL will be debarred by the commission.

NATIONALITY
Candidates who possess a nationality/citizenship as per the following criteria are eligible for the SSC CHSL recruitment exam:
- Candidates who are citizens of India, Nepal or Bhutan
- A Tibetan refugee whose family has settled in India before June 1, 1962 permanently
- Indian origin migrants from any of the following places with the intention of permanently settling in India:

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
- For all posts except DEOs in C&AG – Candidates who have qualified the 12th class or equivalent exam from a recognized board or university are eligible for all the posts offered through SSC CHSL except DEO in C and AG.
- For Data Entry Operator in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General (DEO C and AG) – Candidates who have qualified the class 12th or equivalent exam in Science Stream with Mathematics as a core subject from a recognized board are eligible.
The commission hasn’t put any restriction on minimum marks. However, candidates must attain passing marks in all the subjects.
SSC CHSL – Application Form Submission
The Staff Selection Commission releases the SSC CHSL application form in online mode only. Candidates have to visit the official website of SSC (ssc.nic.in) to fill the SSC CHSL form. Filing and submitting an SSC CHSL form requires multiple steps. All the steps are divided into two parts. The steps to be performed during SSC CHSL application form submission are as follows.

What is the Application Form Fee for SSC CHSL 2022?
The application fee can be paid in online mode only. The details related to the SSC CHSL application fee are as follows.

The application fee will be non-refundable in nature. However, some categories of candidates are exempted from payment of application form fees. These are:

SSC CHSL – Admit Card
The Staff Selection Commission has allocated 9 regional offices. Tips to Prepare for SSC CHSL 2022 Tier I, II & III Exam
For recruitment in thousands of government posts, lakhs of candidates fill and submit the SSC CHSL application form. In order to embrace success in the SSC CHSL 2022 recruitment exam, candidates must have a good overall preparation strategy.
- Gain insights into the SSC CHSL 2022 exam pattern and syllabus
- Prepare a schedule based on the approximate days left for the exam. Reserve some time for the revision

SSC CHSL – Answer Key
The Staff Selection Commission will release the answer key for SSC CHSL Tier I examination soon after the completion of all the shifts. The login credentials of candidates (registration ID and password) are used for checking the SSC CHSL answer key.
SSC releases the CHSL answer key in two phases – first is the provisional answer key. The commission allows candidates to raise objections against question(s) in the provisional answer key after paying an objection fee of INR 100 per objection. After considering the genuine objections, a final answer key is released. Candidates can calculate their probable SSC CHSL score using the SSC CHSL answer key and marking scheme.
SSC CHSL – Result
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the results for the SSC CHSL 2022 Tier I, II and III exams on the official website (ssc.nic.in). Candidates need to clear all three tiers of the SSC CHSL for successful recruitment. The results for all three tiers are released separately. However, the process to check all three remains the same.
Candidates qualifying in Tier I of SSC CHSL as per the cutoff will be marked eligible for Tier II. Similarly, the candidates qualifying the Tier II will be marked eligible for Tier III. However, Tier III is only qualifying in nature.

SSC CHSL – Merit List (Final Result)
Candidates are shortlisted for the Tier III skill test/typing test and the document verification round based on their combined performance in Tier I and Tier II (a minimum score of 33% in Tier II is mandatory).
There can be instances when two or more candidates get similar aggregate scores in the SSC CHSL merit list. The resolution of a tie in such cases will be done using the chronology mentioned below:
#1 Candidates with the higher score in Tier-II of SSC CHSL will be considered first
#2 If the Tier II score is equal for both the candidates, the candidate who is older in age will be given preference
#3 If the date of birth is also the same, alphabetical order of names is considered. Candidates whose name appears first as per the alphabetical order will be preferred in the merit list
SSC CHSL – Selection Process for Recruitment
Selection of the candidates for the recruitment through the SSC CHSL exam comprises a 3-stage process (Tier I, Tier II and Tier III). Candidates have to qualify for all three phases of the SSC CHSL exam and fulfill the documental needs for final recruitment through SSC CHSL.
