SSC CHSL 2023 Application Form Out, Read Important Details

New Delhi, 02 February 2022: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the application form for Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level (CHSL) exam 2022. Candidates are required to apply online till 7 March 2022 at the official website. The correction window for the exam will be open from 11 March to 15 March, 2022.

  • The exact exam date is expected to be released soon. 
  • The exam will be held in 137 cities across the country.

SSC CHSL 2022 Exam: Important Dates

  • SSC CHSL 2022 notification release date: February 1,  2022
  • Availability of SSC CHSL application form 2022: February 1 to March 7, 2022 (11 pm)
  • Last date and time for making online fee payment: March 8, 2022 (11 pm)
  • Last date for the generation of offline challan: March 9, 2022 (11 pm)
  • Last date for payment through challan: March 10, 2022
  • SSC CHSL application correction facility 2022: March 11 to 15, 2022
  • SSC CHSL 2022 exam date for Tier-1: May 2022 (tentative)

How to Apply for SSC CHSL 2022 Exam?

Candidates are required to follow the steps given below to apply for the SSC CHSL 2022 exam:

  • Candidates need  to visit the official website of SSC.
  • Then, candidates need to navigate to the right side of the screen, under ‘Login’ and select ‘New User? Register Now’.
  • A new window will appear on the screen. There, candidates have to fill in all the details and register themselves. 
  • Candidates are required to save the registration number and password for future use.
  • Thereafter, aspirants can login using their registration numbers and passwords.
  • After logging in, candidates are required to select ‘CHSL’ from the given tabs.
  • Finally, candidates need to click on the ‘Apply’ link and complete the process.

What is SSC CHSL 2022 Eligibility Criteria?

  • Candidates should be citizens of India/Bhutan/Nepal.
  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board or university. 
  • Candidates should be of the age group 18-27.
  • Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates have an upper age limit relaxation of 3 years.
  • Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe (SC and ST) candidates have the upper age limit relaxation of 5 years.
  • Person with Disability (PwD) candidates have the upper age limit relaxation of 10 years.

SSC CHSL 2022: Fee Details

  • The application fee is Rs 100.
  • Female candidates, SC/ST candidates, and PwD candidates are exempted from paying the fees. 

Note: Candidates can apply for the positions of Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA)/Sorting Assistant (SA), Data Entry Operator (DEO), and Data Entry Operator Grade ‘A’. The pay scale of each of these positions is different.
