New Delhi, 25 April 2022 – Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has opened the application portal for TCS BPS Hiring 2022. Graduates from Science, Commerce, and Arts backgrounds can apply for the recruitment drive. Selected candidates will be shortlisted for a 65 minutes test, following the successful completion of which, they will be called for a final interview.
Candidates who are able to pass through both the skills test and the interview will be selected as full-time TCS employees in Cognitive Business Operations (CBO), Banking and Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), and Life Sciences vertices in various enriching roles.
Note:
- Only candidates with either one of B.Com, BA, BAF, BBI, BBA, BBM, BMS, BSc-IT/CS/General, BCA, BCS, B.Pharm, or M.Pharm degrees will be considered for TCS recruitment.
- Candidates must also belong to one of the following years of passing (YoP) – 2020, 2021, or 2022 – to get selected.

TCS BPS Hiring 2022 – Who Can Apply?
Candidates who fulfil the following eligibility criteria for TCS hiring can apply for the recruitment drive:
- Course Types: Only full-time courses will be considered for recruitment. Part-time, correspondence, and open courses will not be considered. Candidates who have completed Class 12 and/or Class 10 from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) will be considered – provided all other degrees are full time.
- Work Experience: Candidates with work experience of up to 3 months can apply for TCS BPS hiring.
- Age: Candidates must be from 18 to 28 years of age.
- Courses & Discipline: Only graduates with B.Com, BA, BAF, BBI, BBA, BBM, BMS, BSc-IT/CS/General, BCA, BCS, B.Pharm, and M.Pharm degrees will be considered.
- Year of Passing: Candidates must have passed their degrees in one of the following years – 2020, 2021, and/or 2022 – from any recognized university/college.
- Gaps or Breaks in Education: It is mandatory to declare gaps in education (if any). Also, the overall academic gap should not exceed 24 months until the highest qualification.

TCS BPS Hiring 2022 – How to Apply?
To apply for TCS hiring, one is required to have a CT/DT ID (also called reference ID).
Candidates who already have a CT/DT ID can follow the instructions given below:
- Visit the TCS Next Step Portal.
- Click on the Login tab on the top-right.
- Enter email or reference ID (CT/DT), along with password to log in.
- The application form will appear on the screen.
- Fill up the application form with appropriate information.
Candidates who do not have a CT/DT ID can follow the instructions given below:
- Visit the TCS Next Step Portal.
- Click on the ‘Register Now’ button.
- Choose the “BPS” category from the given list.
- Enter required details including email and submit the application form.
- The CT/DT ID will be created.
- Then visit the TCS Next Step Portal again.
- Click on the Login tab on the top-right.
- Enter email or CT/DT (reference) ID, along with password to log in.
- The application form will appear on the screen.
- Fill up the application form with all required details.
The application will be submitted automatically. If selected for the test, TCS will contact the applicant via email.
Note: Candidates will not receive any email confirmation after applying. TCS will send an email to the shortlisted candidates only.
TCS BPS Hiring 2022 – Important Points
- Candidates must have all original academic documents till fourth/fifth semester marksheets.
- TCS does not send job offers or any hiring-related communication from unofficial email IDs like Gmail, Rediff, Yahoo, or Hotmail. Communication will only be sent from official email IDs with an “@tcs.com” extension.

TCS BPS Hiring – FAQs
What will the work/shift timings be?
Candidates must be comfortable working in rotational shifts. Shift timings will depend on the process they are allocated to, which will be informed during the interview process.
What will be the working location?
The joining location will be discussed with the candidates during the interview. A candidate’s location preference will be taken into consideration. However, the final location will be at the sole discretion of TCS.
Can I choose my domain or function that I want to work in?
The selection and allocation of domain/function will depend on a candidate’s skills and present requirements. Candidates can share their preferences and TCS will try to take them into consideration.
Does TCS provide transport facilities?
Yes! During the day, candidates can avail the centralized pick-and-drop facility. During night shifts, candidates will be provided home pick-up and drop.
Will I get fixed weekend (Saturday & Sunday) offs in TCS?
Weekend offs differ from process to process. Candidates will be informed of the same as per the process they have been selected for.
How will I be informed of my joining date?
If a candidate is shortlisted for a position, he/she will be informed of the joining date either by email or a phone call.
