October 11, 2022, Bhubaneswar, OPSC 2022: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released the Odisha Public Service Commission, Odisha Administrative Services (OPSC OAS) prelims exam dates and syllabus on its official website: opsc.gov.in.

The online application submission for the OPSC OAS recruitment started on January 10, 2022, and ended on February 18, 2022. According to the notification, the preliminary exam will consist of two objective-type papers. The duration of each paper will be two hours.

OPSC OAS 2022 – Prelims Exam Pattern

  • The OPSC OAS prelims examination is a screening exam to shortlist candidates for the OPSC main examination.
  • The preliminary examination consists of objective-type questions with multiple-choice answers.
  • The prelims examination consists of two papers, i.e., General Studies Paper I and General Studies Paper II.
  • The time period to complete each paper is two hours.
  • Paper II is a qualifying paper that requires a minimum score of 33% to pass.
  • General Studies Paper I will consist of 100 questions worth 200 marks.
