New Delhi, 29 October, 2021: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the admission deadline for the July 2021 session for Innovation in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses. Previously, the university had extended the deadline till 25 October 2021. However, as per the recent update, the extended deadline is now October 31. Candidates can apply for the July 2021 session by visiting IGNOU’s official website.
Note: The admission to semester-based programmes, i.e., MBA, MCA, MBA (Banking), BCA, and MSCENV (Master of Science {Environmental Science} ) have been closed.

IGNOU Admissions 2021 – How to Register?
Step 1: Visit IGNOU’s official website.
Step 2: Go to the ‘Register Online’ Tab.
Step 3: Select ‘Fresh Admission’ option from the drop down list.
Step 4: As a new window opens, candidates need to go ahead with the registration process.

- Alternate email address
- Guardian’s relation
- Category
- Mobile number
- Scholarship details
- Religion
IGNOU Registration 2021 – Required Documents
The following documents will be required to fill the IGNOU registration form:
- Scanned photograph (less than 100 KB)
- Scanned signature (less than 100 KB)
- Scanned copy of age proof (less than 200 KB)
- Scanned copy of relevant educational qualification (less than 200 KB)
- Scanned Copy of experience certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB)
- Scanned Copy of category certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (less than 200 KB)
- Scanned Copy of BPL Certificate, if Below Poverty Line(less than 200 KB)
