But, in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak globally, all the examinations have been postponed; as a result of which the further process will also get delayed. Students will be able to access their WBCHSE result on the official website of the board, via android app, or via SMS facility. Details like name of the student, roll number, school code, theory and practical marks in all the subjects, qualifying status, etc will be mentioned on the 12th class result for WB board 2020 exams. After the declaration of the result, the WBCHSE will also announce the names of the toppers along with the percentage statistics. Under the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, Act 1975, the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) was established. The task of WBCHSE is to regulate the school education system of the state. Along with the education policies of the schools, the board also looks after the conduct of the board exams in the state.Â
As you know, the exam process has been slowed down. The board exams for WB 12th class 2020 were scheduled to be conducted from March 12, 2020 to March 27, 2020, and the WBCHSE result 2020 was expected to be declared by June 10, 2020. Since, the exams have been postponed; the result will also get delayed. The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has an android application with the name of WBCHSE results 2020. Students can download this application from the play store to check their results. The following mentioned steps will guide the students about how to use this android application-
The following mentioned details will be given on the result for WB board 12th class 2020 result. In case of any error in the details given, the students must immediately contact the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or their respective school authorities.
After the declaration of the WB board 2020 result for 12th class, the students can start looking up for their future career options. If any student is not satisfied with the marks given to them by the board, they can request for revaluation. And, for the students who have failed in one or more subjects can fill in the compartment exam requests. Students satisfied with their marks should keep an eye on the academic details of the colleges and courses they want to get into. It is advisable to the students to make wise decisions keeping in mind their interests and future.Â
If in case, any student is not satisfied with the marks given to them by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE), they can apply for revaluation of marks. In order to apply for revaluation, the students will be required to collect the revaluation forms from their respective schools. After filling in the form, the students can submit the forms along with the revaluation fee to their respective schools. The board will declare the revaluation results in the month of July 2020, tentatively.Â
Students who have failed in one or more subjects will be able to appear for the compartment exams. The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education will give a second chance to such candidates by conducting the compartment exam after the declaration of the WB board 2020 class 12th result. Students will be able to collect the compartment forms from respective schools. After filling in the form, the students can submit the forms along with the fee at respective schools.
The names of the toppers for the year 2020 will be announced by the board after the declaration of the result for WB board 12th class 2020 exams. Till then the students can go through the previous year data to get an idea about the board exams. In 2019, the exams were conducted from February 26, 2019 to March 13, 2019, and the result was declared on May 27, 2019. Overall 86.92% of candidates passed the exams successfully. Shovan Mondal and Rajashree Barman were last year’s toppers with 99.60% marks.Â
