50,000+ Uttar Pradesh Youngsters to Get Free Education Through International Universities; More Than 3,800 Courses on Offer

In its effort to train the youth of the state and make them ready for the international job market, the Uttar Pradesh Government announced on Sunday, 12 September 2021, that it will provide free education facilities of international standards to selected students. 

To achieve the objective of helping the youth of the state to get employment opportunities abroad, the Department of Vocational Education and Skill Development has chosen Coursera, the online learning platform, as a quality medium to provide free education facilities to more than 50,000 youth. 

Here are some interesting details – 

  • This free education facility will be provided through more than 200 universities around the world. 
  • Upon completion of the courses, students will receive a certificate by Coursera which will be acknowledged around the world. 
  • The selected students have the choice to select from more than 3,800 courses, which are being run by reputable companies, through 200+ universities and institutes around the world. 
  • The training and education will be provided as per international standards to help the students get employment in foreign countries. 

Last week, President Ram Nath Kovind laid the foundation stones for Uttar Pradesh National Law University (NLU) and the new building complex of Allahabad High Court. Uttar Pradesh’s NLU is being constructed in the Jhalwa area of Prayagraj and will be named after the country’s first President Dr. Rajendra Prasad.
