Law School Admission Council (LSAC) is going to conduct LSAT India from July 19 to July 22, 2020 in multiple shifts. Owing to the disruption caused by COVID-19, LSAT India will be held in RPT (Remote Proctored Test) mode. Candidates can book slots and generate their admit cards until July 17, 2020.

The application form of LSAT India released on December 6, 2019. The deadline to fill the online application form for LSAT India was July 5. However, the LSAT India registration was reopened from July 7 to July 10, 2020.

LSAC is conducting LSAT India as a Remote Proctored Test (RPT) this year. Candidates will be able to take LSAT India from the comfort of their homes. However, candidates must not miss any dates or deadlines related to LSAT India. Read the information below to understand the timeline of LSAT India admission procedure.ย 

LSAT India Exam Dates – Application Form Submissionย 

LSAC released the application form for LSAT India on December 6, 2019. After an extension, the application form was available until July 5. However, after the announcement that LSAT India would be conducted in the RPT mode, the window for registration reopened from July 7, 2020to July 10. Although the slot booking window will close on July 17, candidates will still be able to get their admit card using the same portal until the exam day. It is mandatory for all the candidates to produce a hard copy of the LSAT India admit card when the proctor asks for the same on the examination day.ย 

LSAT India Exam Dates 2020

Candidates will have the liberty to choose the LSAT India exam date and slot time as per their convenience. LSAC is conducting the LSAT India on the following dates:

  1. July 19 to July 22, 2020 (i.e. four days in a row)
  2. July 26, 2020

The admit card will mention the LSAT India exam date as chosen by the applicant while booking the slot. Candidates must start the test as per the bell-timings shown in the admit card to avoid disqualification from taking the online LSAT India exam.ย 

LSAT India Exam Dates – Result Declaration

LSAC hasnโ€™t yet disclosed the LSAT India result declaration date. However, if previous yearโ€™s trends are followed, the result for the LSAT India will be declared within 15 days of conducting the exam. Candidates have to visit the official website (discoverlaw.in) to check their LSAT India result as per the schedule.

LSAT India Exam Dates – Counselling

After the release of the LSAT India result, participating institutes conduct the counselling for admission of each candidate individually. There is no common counselling process for admission through LSAT scores. The counselling dates cannot be predicted as each of the LSAT participating institutes will conduct their own selection process depending upon their academic calendars.

Yes. Candidates can download the LSAT admit card until the exam date, irrespective of booking the slot. In such a case, the candidate will get a slot randomly selected by the conducting body.

โœ”๏ธ How many times can I take the LSAT India?

Law School Admission Council and Pearson VUE have set no limitation on taking the LSAT India. Hence, candidates can appear for LSAT as many times as they wish for. However, the exam can be taken only once within one admission cycle.
